Forfeited Turn


-I picked Edwards over Carter b/c Edwards now holds a lot of the records that Carter made at Michigan like # of receptions, receiving yds, and TD receptions.
-While Favre made some great upsets, Walsh posted a 23-1 record as a hurricane and won a NC.
-While Wuerffel had good stats under the pass happy fun and gun offense, Elways still complete 70 more passes in his college career. Wuerffel's success might be greatly attributed to Spurrier also.
-Herrman set an NCAA record with career passing yards, and McMahon did not even break that record coming a few years after Herrman. McMahon played weak opposition while Herrman played in the Big 10.
-Baker was doing the Tebow thing in the 60's passing for 3,476 yds and rushing for 1,503 yd for 38 total Td's. While Leinart was impressive, his team as a whole was much more impressive having all that talent surround him, it's hard not to look good.

I actually used that list to do my own research on the players for each number and form my own opinion on who I think would get the most votes based on stats and awards.
