now ive seen many Tds that are along the lines of " the Giants wont make the superbowl" but ill go one step further. Ill say they'll miss the playoffs.

They have a decent offense but last year they got to the playoffs with a great defense, ancored by a great pass rush. that pass-rush was made from there 2 star defensive ends Osi Umenyoria and Micheal strahan. both are not playing this year.

They play in a super tough division that has improved drastically. They have a depleted d-line, ok linebackers and only an ok secondary.

now The cowboys assuming the cowboys, seahawks win the divisons these are the wildcard teams.

buccaneers/saints/panthers

cardinals

packers/vikings

redskins/eagles


Thats alot to beat out,

more to come and bye the way I thought this BEFORE osi went down.

The only other thing you argued is that Eli is a better QB than Leinart, T-Jack, Rodgers, and campbell. So?

The vikings and packers both will get wins against the bears and lions and are very good teams. Rodgers is playing very well and they have a great defense. The Vikings have a great Running game and defense as well. Whichever team loses the division will get the 1st wildcard spot.

now that leaves all these teams the Giants would have to beat out- Eagles, redskins, saints, cardinals.

The Saints will have a much easier schedual and have a potent offense. They will be healthy and they upgraded their defense on all levels with ellis, vilma, and gay.

The cardinals still have great WRs and good QB play. They have a good o-line and are a solid team. Plus they play in a very easy division except for seattle.

The eagles have maybe the best secondary in the NFL. They have Mcnabb whos healthy and Westbrook

Bottom line is that The Giants (on Paper) will not make the playoffs.

Ok, Rodgers has been doing very well in this preseason. He has tooken alot of hits and by the way If the reason they won last year was because of Favre Why didnt they win the 2 years before that?Ill tell you why. Because They had Great WR play last year. They had the most YAC last year which means all rodgers has to do is check down the ball.


The vikings Almost made the playoffs last year and improved their defense alot.

Let me ask you this. why did the Giants Win the SB last year? Because of their defense. Their defense was good because of Their pass rush which was good becasue of there 2 Star DEs. Which are now gone.


The Eagles Are Better as well. They have samuel, dawkins, sheppard, and brown in a great Secondary. They have a Better offense than the Giants and got hot right at the end of the season.

The Redskins have good Qb play and Great RB Play. They added 2 new WRs and Jason Taylor to an under-rated defense.

The Saints have a top 5, maybe top 3 offense. Their defense was their weakness and they sured that up.

Their is no way the GIants beat ALL those teams. And Just beacue they won the SB last year doesnt mean they automaticaly make it this year.
