JaMarcus Russell will struggle in Oakland.

With no weapon like Randy Moss, no weapons at all really, a terrible offensive line, mediocre running backs, a brand-spanking new coach who is younger than some of players on the roster....and lets not even mention the disgruntled hostility that is the Raider Nation, and the ever looming presence and decision making of Al Davis...I think he is going to have a hard time achieving any success. The Raiders have had a poisoned atmosphere for a while and its not certain that is completely purged from the clubhouse. Players dont want to come to Oakland, so bringing in help wont be very easy. JaMarcus is talented, but the NFL is a different beast than college, and he is going to the most ill equipped team to mold him into an star. Just look up who they picked the last time they drafted a QB that high...The Raiders are starting from the ground up and would have been better served bringing in a Trent Green, or another veteran. JaMarcus has nobody to learn from, and no weapons to lean on. The Defense is good, but JaMarcus doesnt play defense. He will have to be true hero, and carry the Offensive load entirely on his shoulders if he is to have success in Oakland.

Of course Russel will strugle, he only has 1 WR to throw to and that porter. The oakland line is 1 of the worst and he will get sacked alot this year i beleive he will throw 15 td and 25 int.

Please. You have nothing intelligent to say, just like the rest of Raider Village. Everything the Champ stated was true, and you know it, no hate needed to be involved to speak the Truth. As for the niners since Steve Young, well we managed to not lose a superbowl since then, which I cant say for the Raiders. We also manage to beat the Raiders most the time we see eachother on the field, so how bout that!
