A throwdowner named NCshvDavid said 07/02, 04:37 AM
NBA has him listed as a SG/SF-
I have been told he is one of the 10 best at his position:
I want to see who can tell me how he is:
So: 5 SG's I'd rather have
Allen, Ray
Bryant, Kobe
Ginobili, Manu
Hamilton, Richard
Crawford, Jamal
and 5 SF I'd rather have
Anthony, Carmelo
Artest, Ron
Battier, Shane
James, LeBron
Lewis, Rashard
and as a bonus Here are two more I'll take for my 1st pick there MJ
Bowen, Bruce
Jefferson, Richard
Anyone still think J-Rich is worth it?
The Waiting Game said 07/02, 05:58 AM
You can't choose 5 at each postion??????? That would be the best 5 at his position, basic math. But beyond that he is worth it for them because they are full of young talent the last thing they need is another 19 year old kid coming in and needing 3 years to mature. Why not take a player who you know who you are going to get, less upside, but a for sure thing, with the ability to lead because this isn't his 2nd year in the league like the rest of their team. O and the math again, nice work
A throwdowner named NCshvDavid said 07/02, 06:07 AM
This is his 6th year by the way and he is 1 for 6 in getting to the playoffs on Baron Davis coattails.
His Position is Sg/SF as I stated so I picked 5 SF and 5 SG that are better ergo 10 players that can play the swingman role that are better than him-
Also his stats DECLINED across the board so quit the draft talk about "upside" I'm sure he has a great "motor" as well.
Durant and Oden also are 19 and I'm sure you don;t want them on your team- and how old is LeBron?
The Waiting Game said 07/03, 03:59 AM
You don't need another 19 year old when 3/4 of your team is 3 years of less out of college or highschool. You need someone who has that playoff experince, who cares if it was on Baron Davis's coattails, farther then most of the team, besides MJ of cousre. And you can't count sg and sf seperate genius. That means he can play either not that it is his position. In order for him to not be what you say there needs to be 10 count them 10 sg better or 10 count them 10 sf better not 5 of each.

Don;t like the argument then don;t accept-
But if you have to go SG how about
Mcgrady
Pierce
Carter
Allen, Ray
Bryant, Kobe
Ginobili, Manu
Hamilton, Richard
Artest, Ron
Jefferson, Richard
Lewis, Rashard
Happy now?
And guess how many of them make LESS than 1/4 th of the CAP!
The Waiting Game said 07/03, 04:22 AM
That wasn't the argument they are two different position. Ray Allen does not play the same position as Rashard Lewis He is not in the top 5 at either position, but he is in the top 10 of both
SG
Kobe Bryant
Dwyane Wade
Ray Allen
Vicne Carter
Micheal Redd
Manu Ginobli
Joe Johnson
and you could make a case for Ben Gordon
that would put him 9th at the most
SF
Lebron James
Tracy McGrady
Paul Pierce
Shawn Marion
Carmelo Anthony
Josh Howard
Lamar Odom
i'd rather have jason then artest
Top 10 in both

you can't pick 5 of each. truth is he would be in the top 10 of either 1 of those positions.

NCshDavid, Trunks is saying that Richardson makes because this isn't his 2nd year in the league. He is a veteran and provides a proven scorer that doesn't need 3 years to develop.

True this is his 6th and as I have stated his numbers have gone DOWN in each year plus he went down to 51 games played this year- but show me on this list of 10 ( to 12) that you would trade for Richardson.
ONly players on roster less than 3 years exp
Anderson, Alan
Felton, Raymond
May, Sean
Morrison, Adam
Hollins, Ryan
That is 5 players on the whole roster- and only 2 playing any kind of minutes - and one ( morrison) who needs to be gone as well. and he was only outscored by 4 ppg than Richardson!
Noah was not 19, Hawkes was not 19-
Next time please show me a list of players that improved from year 6 to year 7? Kobe went up 4 pts. and MJ, well he went DOWN 2 points.
Hows that for a Vast improvement?
PLus Adam- a "proven scorer" at 16 ppg with Baron tossing you the ball? who is his PG in Bobcatland? think those easy buckets might decline a lil bit?
I'm a Charlotte fan- period- I hope I'm wrong and Jason scores 50 a night and we go undefeated-but I also hope I find a lottery ticket stuck to my windshield when I leave work tonight too.

you would seriousy rather have bowen and artest on the bobcats over richardson? im not knocking their skill but the bobcats are in deperate need of another guy who can create his own shot and bring fans to the stadium. bowen and artest do neither. richardson will get his points in charlotte because there are only 2 guys on the roster who can score consistantly. i am sure his scoring average will go up this year providing hes not injured.
of course whats funny is that this td is about j-rich not being one of the top 10 swingmen in the nba. with that i most definitely agree. lets try to stick to the agruement at hand.
