I'm not going to argue against Caddy Shack because it is a decent movie, but it just isn't half as funny as Happy Gilmore is.
Happy Gilmore has classic comedian actors with Adam Sandler and Ben Stiller.
Happy Gilmore is one of those movies that you can watch 100 times and still get a kick out of it. You can't argue against a Happy Madison production. Every movie they make is absolutely histarical!
I guarantee everyone on this site can rattle off a quote from Happy Gilmore, I know about ten atleast off the top of my head. As for Caddy Shack, I can't think of one. Maybe someone who is more for the old school movies can think of a few.
Happy Gilmore is a must see for anyone who hasn't seen it and reads this TD.

Seriously, anyone that is over 21 should be able to cite a dozen quotes from Caddyshack. (It isn't two words, by the way) Just saying Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray should make you start laughing. Add in Ted Knight, Brian Doyle Murray, and the great Henry Wilcoxon as The Bishop....and you have comedy genius.
Happy Gilmore is all fine and dandy if you want to watch Adam Sandler play the same part he plays in all his movies, only this time with a hockey stick for a putter. ..uses his little kid's voice...loses his temper and yells...falls in love with the hot girl and tries to impress her by acting like a little boy.
I laughed at Happy Gilmore. But Caddyshack is in the top 30 comedies of ALL TIMES. Not golf comedies. COMEDIES.
Every Happy Madison production? Deuce Bigalow? The Animal? Little Nicky? The Hot Chick? Grandma's Boy? Paul Blart, Mall Clark? Do you even go to the movies? Compare the two all you want, but no person who has any sense would pick Happy over Caddyshack...EVER.

There is really no point in arguing anymore sense everyone seems to think Caddyshack is God and untouchable. I like how everyone is busting out Happy Gilmore quotes for comments and then voting for you??
"Just saying Chevy Chase, Rodney Dangerfield and Bill Murray should make you start laughing. Add in Ted Knight, Brian Doyle Murray, and the great Henry Wilcoxon as The Bishop....and you have comedy genius." I quoted this from you in your first arguement, since they are "genius" I would like to know another movie that they are in besides Chevy Chase.
Oh by the way it's Paul Blart Mall COP, not Clark. That movie happens to be top of the box office right now so yeah i'd say it's decent.
And I dono about you but I'm pretty sure he played a different role in Little Nicky and Happy Gilmore, sense "he always plays the same part in all his movies." If ou didn't think The Hot Chick, or Grandma's Boy was funny you are insane.
"Why don't you go in your hole? Are you to good for your hole? **** white **** ball!"

It can be Paul Blart Mall **** Star...it will still suck. People buying tickets doesn't mean its good. Ask them what they think when they walk OUT.
You really want me to list the movies Bill Murray was in? How about Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Stripes....
Ted Knight, emmy awarding winning actor with hundreds of acting credits including The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Too Close For Comfort. Both shown today on television.
I'm not even gonna start with Brian Doyle-Murray. He has over 100 movie credits. He also was a writer for Saturday Night Live during its funniest years. How can you not know Bill Murray's brother?
Henry Wilcoxon? Seriously? How about Cleopatra, The Last of the Mohicans, The Corsican Brothers, The Greatest Show on Earth, The Ten Commandments....or as I like to say....some of the greatest movies ever put on film.
And if you don't know Rodney Dangerfield, then you're just too stupid for me to continue this conversation.

I'm honestly not going to lie hear I have only heard of Chevy Chase, I loved his Christmas Vaction movie. As for the rest of those actors they are nobody's to me. I highly doubt people are walking out of Paul Blart Mall Cop, Kevin James is a laughing riot! Maybe I don't know all those actors in Caddyshack because I wasn't born in 1969 and only watch a bunch of old movies. I'm more of the new school humor, I find it a lot funnier then Caddyshack. Will Ferrel for one is the funniest man on this earth. You probably think Caddyshack is even funnier then Step Brothers, Superbad, Role Models, and Forgetting Sara Marshall. If that's the case you are about 40 years old and need to get a life! Oh yeah I don't know Rodney Dangerfield so i'm to stupid and you shouldn't carry this conversation on.
