1. MJD

Simply put the past 3 years he played with the most underrated RB in NFL History. He has averaged 4.8 YPC during his career, however last year he had around 824 yards. Should easily get 40-50 more carries this year with the departure of Fred Taylor (he got 143 carries last year). Another thing boding well, was the freakish injuries of 4/5 lineman last year. To add depth they signed a great veteran OT in Tra Thomas, and drafted highly touted prospects like Eugene Monroe and Britton.

2. Larry Johnson

Only had 874 rushing yards last season. His 4.5 yards per carry shows he still has the talent. Although the team has had a very talented WR in Bowe it hasn't had a qb who can get him the ball until now. The addition of Cassell will mean less 8 man fronts and more opportunities for LJ.

3. Brandon Jacobs

He had 1,089 yards on only 219 attempts.

13 different backs had over 250 carries last year. 7 had over 280 carries. The Giants will lean on him more due to the loss of Ward (1000+ yards on 182 carries). The Giants keep the #1 ranked run blocking o-line intact and will still be a run 1st team.

Great list game-time, I fully agree on Mo-Jo to be the number one RB that will improve the most going into the 2009 season so here are the 2 changes.

1) Ronnie Brown

Last Season, The Dolphins split carries between both Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams (214 and 160). Going into this season I do still believe they will split carries especially with the Wild Cat formation, but with Brown going down in 2007 due to injury, part of the split in carries was to be cautious with his return. Last season he averaged 4.3 yards a carry, and even with an increase of 30 carries this season, a 1200 yard season is not out of the question for Ronnie and his team???s 11th ranked rushing offense.

2) Joseph Addai

This past season for Addai (and all his fantasy owners) was a nightmare. He had 155 rushing attempts for 544 yards and a 3.5 average per carry. He did miss 4 games due to injury, and most of the games he was not the same rusher of the previous 2 years. He had one game of over 100 yards this season. With the offense the Colts have, the opportunity for a healthy Addai to put up an additional 50-60 carries, and a 1000+ yard season would have Addai bouncing back in 2009.

Forte will improve his receptions yards alot.

but I can't really argue he'll have a lot more then 1200 plus rushing yards he had last year.

forte, slaton, and even LT are all guys that could be put here, but if they improve we are looking at AP terriotry. I like both list for guys that have the potential to do alot this season!

Will you two idiots please stop saying "alot". It's not a word.

Do you think "alittle" is a word, too.

TWO WORDS: "a" and "lot"

I like three of lefts picks but two of rights. Not feeling the addai pick, he might get phased out next year.

Felt he had a good argument for Addai to come back and improve from last year. LT was another option but even he had over 1000 yards and 200+ carries. His 3 were hard to match up against, and there is no RB with the same ammount of upside as Mo-Jo this season so picking against him would be wrong.
