is not the Mannings, or the Barbers, or the Klitschkos, or the Staals.......its clearly Serena and Venus Williams of Womens Tennis.

They combine for 17 GRAND SLAM SINGLE titles!
8 Grand Slam Titles as a double partnership

The fact that they have won so much- and had to play at the same time, so beat each other along the way, has made it an unbelievable sibling domination

For me it came down to the mannings or the barbers, and i choose the Mannings. Football, at least in in america and maybe some parts of canada is the most popular sport. If you asked 100 random ppl on the street what they would rather watch, the williams sister go at it for a title, or the mannings play in a regular season game, the average person is going to want to watch the football game. Every time they have a game coming up it is always the top story. Every time Eli has a big game the debate begins if he is finaly going to be better than peyton. And if the impossoible ever happens and they play each other in the Super Bowl its a good chance it could be one of the highest rated games ever watched.

Forfeited Turn

I think the Mannings are still the best siblings in all of sports. Too have 2 brothers both make the NFL and star and start is just amazing. The amount of talent it takes to make the NFL, let alone Start at one of the hardest postions, thay both had to of worked thier asses of. Not saying the williams work hard, because they do, and they are great at what they play, but i think it is probaly 5xs harder, and probaly like 100x's more likely that their will be another sibling pair in tennis beforetheir is ever another set of brothers like the mannings.

Your argument is based on sport popularity??? And besides, you even admitted that football is only popular here in the U.S.A. - it is not the most popular in Canada, that would be HOCKEY you idiot lol - and so, yea Americans would most likely want to watch the Mannings go at it, but the rest of the world- WORLD- would like to see a Williams Showdown in the final of a Grand Slam tournament......

The sisters combined

have won a total of 89 titles............ 89!!!!!

17 Grand Slam singles

8 Grand Slams together

They accomplished this while each was in their prime at the same time

one can argue that Eli is not in his prime, while Peyton may be leaving his prime- so they never had to showdown against each other when both were in their prime....... furthermore, the Williams sisters are both TOP 10 if not TOP 5 best in their sport in history

the Mannings will never be that good

and once again, your entire argument is about SPORT POPULARITY....which still favors the Williams sisters because the Mannings receive more attention in the United States, but way less in the world

It's certainly not the Sedin sisters. Or Jose and Ozzie Canseco. Or Jason and Jeremy Giambi.

they also have the best sibling nicknames.

big poison & little poison.

Not only are Serena and Venus the best, they are also probably the most intimidating......

July 3, 2009  06:43 PM ET

There is at least one option that is much better but right needs to comment first.

July 3, 2009  06:46 PM ET

Umm...

One of the two played center field for the Yankees and had a 56 game hit streak, and his brother had a nice career.

Won't say names.

July 3, 2009  06:48 PM ET

Actually, the best is two HOF baseball outfielders not named DiMaggio.

Both were Pirates for years.

July 3, 2009  06:55 PM ET

i forgot about dom and joe

July 3, 2009  06:59 PM ET

Millers anyone? Reggie was one of the best shooting guards of the 90s and Cheryl had NBA level talent. Not WNBA, NBA.

None of the people you are mentioning are better becuz the Williams can BOTH be considered top 10 in their sport EVER, if not top 5 by the time they end their career

no other combo can live up to that

It's women's tennis you are talking about though.

July 3, 2009  07:18 PM ET

so what? the actual sport has nothing to do with it

you cannot give someone more credit because they played a sport that in ur eyes, is more likeable.... serena and venus chose their sport, and both managed to dominate the rest while having to deal with each other

and besides, i like the fact that you people are bringing up great other sibling combinations...thats the point, this topic is VERY debateable, which it should be unlike many topics where the topic starter chooses the upper hand

Those were the first two i thought of. Dom had a very good career and Joe's greatness needs no explaining.
