Michigan is the powerhouse of the Big Ten this year.
Just as they defeated the then #2 team in the land. Michigan, led by
Senior QB Chad Henne
Senior RB Mike Heart
Junior WR Mario Manningham
will again route the nd fighting irish.

No way. The Irish have got a new defensive coordinator that has turned the defense into 3-4. Now they can match the speed of Michigan. You said that they would route them. I am not saying that Notre Dame will win, but they will not be blown out. Also, Notre Dame plays better at the Big House than they do at Notre Dame.

If Mich did it last year - has all their offense returning (as upperclassmen) and all the confidence in the world.. It'll surely happen again.
ND plays better at Mich than in S bend? Okay? You dont think UofM plays better at home than on the road? Bad argument.
Wanna talk defense.. Wolverines to end 2006 as #3 in total defense. and only 3 spots to fill going into 2007.

OK. The last two times that Michigan was ranked top 5 in preseason, they lost to Notre Dame. Notre Dame likes to play the underdog role. They will thrive with all of the negativity.

Look at how they faired last year versus ranked opponents. The only win vs a ranked team was Penn State.
Other scores vs ranked opponents.
USC 44 - 24
LSU 41 - 14
You cant give up 40 points and expect to win..
I guess your banking on them being able to even compete with decent programs this year? All for sake of being the "underdog."
