Out of the projected top 4 running backs in Fantasy Football(LT,Jackson,LJ,and Gore.) the one who is probably the biggest risk this year is L. Johnson

OK, while some people here might have a different view, in most fantasy football guides and magazines, the four backs I listed are the ones that are generally in the top 4.

To me the guy who is considered the riskiest is Larry Johnson. I had Larry Johnson last year and he did great for me, so believe me I am a big Johnson fan. Looking at his situation however, I think I would be the most concerned about him if I took him in fantasy football.

1) He's threatening a holdout. Thats never a good thing. I'm not sure if that means that he's going to actually do it or not, but I wouldn't put it past the guy and I'm not so sure that he doesn't deserve a little bit more money.

2) He is coming off of a 400 carry season. In the past the few who have had this many carries have followed up with less then stellar perfomances.

3) This is probably my biggest one, his offensive line isn't the same it was two years ago or even last year. Roaf and Shields are now retired and it looks like Kansas City is in a rebuilding mode. There are talks of Croyle becoming the starting QB. I'm not so sure I like his chances with an inexperienced QB, who really never showed that much in NCAA.

ok nice, trying to take an easy win. Show this guy what he deserves, a loss.

Obviously LJ is the riskiest to take because he may not even be playing!

Dude I didn't think this was an easy win.

Alot of people have told me that Frank Gore is because Norv Turner is gone.

Dude I don't take easy wins, I try to set up arguments that someone can argue.

I wanted this one, and actually to argue it, not just to say it was an "easy win." I think Frank Gore has to be considered the biggest risk. He's only had one good season, and could easily turn out to be a flash in the pan. He's also playing on a below-average San Francisco offense that could implode around him at any point. Holdouts very rarely last into the season, especially with star offensive players. His 400 carries last season limit his long-term value, but he's still got a few good years left, even at this rate.

i agree with yo momma. this is arguable, and i was going to take frank gore as well

I think this was a setup for an easy win. His stats were made because he had Trent Green throwing 3 to 4 thousand yards and one of the best lines in the league. Any back that lost that caliber of QB and the 2 best people on the line is going to have a season below their average. Weak(er) line and no passing game = 8 (or more!) guys in the box to stop the run.

This was arguable, I'd say Sizemore is trying harder to get an easy win.

July 14, 2007  10:00 PM ET

i agree, sizemore just wanted an easy win. this one could've ended up being a good challenge if yo mamma took it. sorry that sizemore got it airforce
thanks for your service

I hate people that just say that the other person is going for an easy win. If you think that, don't accept the throwdown!!!

July 14, 2007  10:44 PM ET

Vote to Airforce for a better argument.

July 14, 2007  10:56 PM ET

God, why do people do this? Annoying as hell...hopefully it can still turn into something good.

July 14, 2007  11:48 PM ET

the funny thing is, sizemore is doing the same thing airforce bat that myteamchoseryanleaf did to him, so, as you said in your previous throwdown, if you dont accept the TD to argue, why did you accept it?

July 15, 2007  12:14 AM ET

Your trying to get an easy win by accepting this and than saying that. U should forfeit b/c of that

July 15, 2007  12:19 AM ET

"Sizemore Matters" how can he be going for an easy win when he types an argument like that?

July 15, 2007  12:34 AM ET

Its not like this isn't a debatable topic.

I mean this isn't obvious, I've heard plenty of people that think that Frank Gore is risky.

July 15, 2007  02:23 AM ET

dude that is a tough 4 rb to beat but you still could of said shaun alexader or duce allister or reggie bush was better but you take this what could have been good td and waste it by saying that its a easy win please dont take anymore td if thats what your going to say.

July 15, 2007  02:26 AM ET

theres willis mcghee to and clinton portis

July 15, 2007  02:27 AM ET

Ummm dude the title isn't who is the best four.

July 15, 2007  11:43 AM ET

frank gore

July 15, 2007  12:08 PM ET

hey sizemore, you might have won this one if you had an arguement. If anyone gave him an easy win, it was you. Frank Gore is very risky because of his knee problems and the fact that they lost their O coordinator.
