No money, and has NO FEAR!
Finished 5th the past 2 seasons, and ridden with poverty.

Moyes, huh?
Several names come to mind before him, namely Sir Alex Ferguson (Manchester United).
But, to make things different, I will pick Jose Mourinho, the former Chelsea manager, now with Inter Milan.
At 46, he's still relatively young for a soccer manager, but he's basically won everything he has tried to.
With FC Porto (Portugal) he won the European Champions League (the highest soccer honor in Europe), the UEFA Cup the year before (now called League Europe) and the Portuguese league. He also won the Portuguese cup, just to round things off.
He became very well-known and was invited to manage Chelsea, in England. He thus became one of the most well-paid managers in world soccer.
He basically turned Chelsea into the premier soccer club in England, winning the Premiership twice, along with an FA Cup.
Now he's coaching Inter Milan, in Italy.
And yes, in his first year at the helm, he led Internazionale to the championship victory, with a Supercup along the way.

If you present David Moyes a plate full of turd, he will turn it into a lovely and sweet feast.
He is basically the British version of "The Tuna".

Ok, I wasn't exactly sure if you were going for a serious TD or not. I guess not, huh?
Instead of arguing with you (there's not much to argue), I'll use a comment that was posted below to give something to go for.
"it's hard to compare when SAF and The Special One have a huge budget and a ridiculous wealth of talent at their disposal." (comment #4)
True. But let us look at things this way: both Moyes and Mourinho are 46.
Moyes started coaching in England in 1998 and Mourinho started in Portugal in 2000.
Yet Mourinho was able to develop a new approach to the game: he is a good tactician, but he basically took the psychological aspect of the game to an entire new level.
He teases players, in the locker rooms, with published news that downplays the work of some players, or perhaps even of their entire team.
He uses all of that to fuel the competitive edge of his teams.
And he started winning, becoming respected and even feared by opposing sides.
In fact he developed an aura of invincibility that few coaches can muster.
That's why he is on a bigger team with a bigger budget... he was able to climb to his current spot.

So he's the chicken of the sea? That has to be one of the most epic fails at an argument in a Throwdown.
The only thing you're missing is "nuff said" after this nonsense. Vote right.

As much as I love SAF as a huge Man Utd fan, I was going to say Arsene Wenger. Even though I hate him, it takes away from the argument that Everton is a "poor" club since Arsenal hardly spends bigs bucks either.
SAF tops them all but Arsene beats Moyes at his own game.

Anything is better than the sad sack argument put forward by left. But I wouldn't expect you to catch on to that judging by your question.
I could come up with a host of names for you and make a decent case for each that would be better than "He makes Saffron out of Sewage" or "He only has $20 so he's better"
It's a matter of substance not style.

I'm not sure if he would count since he's not with a club team this year, but Guus Hiddink. No one else that I can think of is able to actually install different systems with different squads and see immediate success. The guy's won using a 5-3-2, 4-4-1-1, 3-4-3, 4-3-3 and a 4-1-3-2. Most managers fall in love with a single style and try to jam players in to it regardless of the fit.

good point, he works with what is given to him and maximizes the teams potential, and while leading completely different countires with unique cultures and attitudes.
