Couldn't they be considered that already? I mean they consistently compete for the SEC and finish top 15 in the country.

they haven't reached that point yet...they gotta win another national championship before they do...but we have a really good chance to do that with our new recruiting class this year and next year...and matthew stafford will get a whole lot better over his years if he decides to stay.

Okay, well first what's the time frame on this? Are we talking three years or twenty? And while Stafford has shown signs of promise, you never know what can happen. Everybody thought Leak was going to be the best QB in college football history(obviously exaggerating). And while he did win a Nat'l Title, he was far from expectations. And you never know with recruiting. At OSU, Troy Smith was signed as an athlete and was the last signee and AJ Hawk was only a three-star recruit. And we've had star recruits that haven't performed before.

they have to win one in the next 6 years...they are very close...matthew stafford..well we will see how he does this year..and if he does great...then he is gonna start off the perenial powerhouse...with AJ Green comming in..that will help us on all dimensions...he's drawn comparrisons to Reggie Bush..and if it's true than that will also establish the perenial powerhouse..and our defense is growing with 5 star recruits..if they click like they did in 02 when they were ranked top 3 defense and 13-1 record then hello Nat'l title

They automatically are at a disadvantage by being in the SEC and having to play UF every year, who many say had the best recruiting class this past year. Like I said you never know with recruiting. You can predict that guys will be good, but you just don't know. There are many teams that have the same feeling as you, with a bunch of nice recruits. But not all of them will be satisfied.

yup...but fred gibson dropped the pass that would have lead us there..and we woulda beat Miami...Florida cheats to win their games...hell their defense end was taking supplements to help his game out that helped him block carolina's field goal...but that news doesn't come out untill the monday after the game...they cheat horribly agains Georgia that year...callin' a face mask on us on a 4 and 5...man charles johnson didn't even tough his face mask...all we had to do wut take it 30 yards down the field to score..and if you remember correctly...we were whoopin yalls **** most of the game...
