Kelly was considered for the job at Tennessee, and was narrowly defeated by Lane Kiffin. I'm sure he doesn't plan on staying in the Big East, and my guess is that he shoves off for a big six school.

If you accept this TD, you can argue a different team, or argue that he stays at Cincinnati.

My guess is that he ends up with the Colorado Buffaloes.

Coach Dan Hawkins was highly hyped upon his hiring, but has yet to deliver Colorado a winning season over 3 seasons, has compiled a 13 -24 record, and is currently 2-6 this year with a 1-3 conference mark an a loss to MAC team Toledo.

Up and coming coaches like Kelly are a rarity, and if you can lock one up you never know if you're looking at the next Bobby Bowden or Joe Pa.

Kelly's wide open spread attack would be a breath of fresh air to Buffalo faithful, who have suffered lack luster quarterback and receiver performances over the last four years, and have watched the same stale offense (the product of years of inbred coordinators and assistants).

Most importantly, it gives Kelly his spot. A program that's in a conference that allows him to compete for a national title - from GVSU to CMU to Cinci to BUF.

Do you know what this is Tintedglass? This is apple juice it gives me super bad farts.

Brian Kelly: Next Year...

Simple shaded one. Brian Kelly will stay in Cincinnati next year were the program is already in a BCS Conference, that means he can compete in a BCS Bowl. If Cincinnati does well this year and continues the trend next year, they may have a good chance at the National Championship, why would he give that up to move to Colorado and start from scratch... Tintedglass, don't you know the first law of BCS physics?

The Bearcats played in the Orange Bowl versus the ACC champion, Virginia Tech last year. This year they should be playing in another one. Next year Cincinnati will probably start out better in the rankings and play in the big dance, Kelly isn't stupid to lose that opportunity.

Kelly a grew up in Chelsea, Massachusetts and from his work history, has taken up coaching jobs only on the East side of the US, why would Kelly buck the trend now, that's bullcrap.

From GVSU to CMU to Cinci to BUF? Wrong EQUATION, try intelligent and friendly on rye bread with some mayonnaise instead.

What?

Other than that, fair enough. I guess Cincinnati is looking more and more like 'his team'.

I just made this TD out of boredom... And because I'm a huge Brian Kelly fan.

1. Lane Kiffin did not "defeat" Brian Kelly. Kelly announced that he was staying at UC and turned down the other offers he had. In fact, he's publicly stated that his goal is to turn Cincinnati football into an elite program. And since the school wants to keep him at all costs, I he'll likely stay.

2. Why would he take a huge step DOWN to go to Colorado?
