Defense
The Skins are ranked 5th in the NFL in Fewest points given up/game with 17.6, tied for 4th in Offensive Yards/game (283.4). It is clearly the best part of the Redskins game & one of the best in the NFL.
The Bills are 25th in yards given up/game (372.4) & 16th in pts given up/game (21.1).
They are among one of the worst D's in the NFL where as the Skins are one of the best.
O-Line
As bad as the Titans are this year, their O-Line is among the best in the NFL. They have only given up 6 sacks, 2nd fewest in the NFL. And their O-Line has helped the Titans to the 8th best rushing attack (831 yds) & 2nd best in terms of yards/carry (5.3).
The Rams O-Line has given up 16 sacks (22nd) & have failed in providing adequate protection for Marc Bulger.
RB
Sure Chris Johnson is leading the NFL in Rushing Yards with 824, but Steven Jackson is # 2 with 784. In terms of this TD he is the is the best choice to represent the Rams.
QB
Campbell's numbers are only marginally better than Cassel. With them both throwing 8 td's but Campbell has also 7 INT's vs 5 for Cassel.
But other than Bowe, who else on the Chiefs are you going to pick?
I'll get to the Kickers in my 3rd.

D:
You mean the skins who have 5 total turnovers? They may have a high ranked D but have done absolutely nothing, also playing the crappiest teams in the NFL helps The bills have 11 more INT's than the skins while despite having Hanesworth he has done absolutely nothing.
O-line 6 sacks says that Kerry Collins gets rid of the ball at his first opportunity, making his completion rating 54% Hell I could get rid of the ball all the time and not get sacked too, doesn't mean my O-line is good. CJ also runs outside the tackles which means where is the O-line help? Cj has the speed to run past defenders rather than follow blocks.
Oline&RB
Steven Jackson doesn't have breakaway speed which is exactly why the OLINE is good Blame the sacks on on Bulger on Boller, they play like Aaron I don't want to ever throw away the ball Rodgers and they hold on to the ball too long
CJ is making his runs happen, while Jackson relys on his line
QB:Cambells #'s are 12% MORE accurate while attempting more passes. and has also 500 more yards not to mention 2 more YdA
don't forget how Cassel has been sacked 24 times
FoosBall said 11/05, 12:28 PM
K
Lindell
13/15 in FG 12/12 in PAs FG missed were from 40+ yds
Ryan Succop
9/11 in FG 10/10 in PAs FG missed were from 40+
Similar #s but a slight edge to Lindell
"Cassel has been sacked 24 times"
Campbell's been sacked 20x...what's your point?
That just shows that lack of quality on their OLine's & the inability to protect the QB
"SJ doesn't have breakaway speed which is exactly why the OLINE is good"
The #1 job of the OLine is to protect the QB & 2nd to make holes for the run game.
Also Steven Jackson is tied with AP for the 2nd most run yds (784) & they both have the same YPC (4.8)...By your logic I guess AP doesn't have break-away speed either?
"Oline 6 sacks says that Kerry Collins gets rid of the ball"
also shows that he & Young were getting great protection as well.
All of which is why I picked the Titans as my OLine since it is 1 of the best in the NFL while the Rams is one of the worst.
???Cambell...has also 500 more yards???
Sure but it also helps that he's started 7 games to Cassel???s 6.
I'll give the RB edge to you but overall with the better OLine, D & comparable QB's???I feel that I have the better team assembled her from the cellar dweller.
Beefskins:NoYard=NoRake said 11/05, 12:59 PM
K You failed to mention that lindell hasn't attempted anything from 50+ yards and my kicker made a 50+ yarder and missed one while your kicker missed 2 from 40.
So by your logic Cambell still has 500 more yards than Cassel 1 game isn't that big of a difference. and either way a 500 yard game is pretty monster.
You talk about sacks but Cambell played one more game and was sacked 4 less times.
"also shows that he & Young were getting great protection as well."
It doesn't show that at all. If you keep tossing the ball any ol way to avoid a sack, it's still not a sack.
As far as Jackson/AP comment, AP has breakout speed but has been seen a decline this year, and has either plenty of short runs then a 30-40 yard run to even out his average. Don't forget his cleveland game. So by my logic your logic is flawed.
When it comes down to it, whether it is stats or by credentials and playing the game, my team overall would beat your team. You say better Oline again but do not deny that they don't help in the running game of course they help but not as much as they do in stephen jackson.
Cassel is a product of the system. goodTD

I think that looking at the bottom teams each year proves something that few want to believe: Winning a football game begins and ends with the OL. Granted there are more factors, but look at all of these bottom teams and then look at their OL. Look at the Packers too: a talented team, but with a horrendous OL.

And out of the bottom teams, the Titans are the only ones with a solid OL. Their weak D is losing them games. Which is why I see them having a better shot at surprising teams than any other, because a D can step it up any week but a bad OL is tough to fix.

fantasy football question. Should I trade DeAngelo Williams Calvin Johnson and Malcom Floyd for Clinton Portis, Matt Forte and Jeremy Maclin? I would get Forte, Maclin and Portis.

Ask yourself 2 questions 1st...
How long is Westbrook out for?
And who else is on your team?
