He is a really talented musician. It's great to see athletes who can do something unrelated to sports after retirement.

first of all,no one cares!
secondly, what are we talkin bout again?
well, ill just ask Allen iverson!

this is like the chewbacca rebuttal on south park. my point is it's nice to see a ball player who doesn't come back and manage, but succeeds in something unsports related because the stereotype is athletes can't do anything but play sports. bernie williams just played the star spangled banner on guitar b4 the knick game, and it was pretty sweet. somebody cares. me and 30,000 fans.

wait a sec!i thought we were talkin bout practice!?!?!
wll actually ill ask A.I. AND Jim mora on this one!
just to clear this up.

In closing -- Bernie Williams. Four world series rings, and a grammy nomination.

One impressive individual.

Yankee fans care, or at least, real ones do!

well im no genius but im pretty sure fannation is a sports website.
so instead of talking about musicians ill just have a good ole' laugh from this video!

Bernie's a mean guitar player? Why? Did he poke a handicapped kid at a session, or somethin?

ok, then, if you cant take a peck, The Star Spangled Banner is an incredibly precise piece that is challenging at any musical position, and if you say he did a good job, to your limited hearing(you are only human), then a vote on the opinion might be in order. I tend to think it's better for our society in general, if our stars and rich people don't hog so much of the limelight, as it will reduce our national perceptions of what talent is. Our influence is not what it was in the world, and a better talent base has to be allowed to rise. That said, he did well, considering his skill and stage of choice in life, but the song has been done better many, many times. On every instrument.
