Of course i am talking about Nascar.

My pick is going to be Jimmie Johnson.

At Texas Motor Speedway in his career he has 1 win 6 top 5's and 9 top 10's. His avg. finish is 8.5. Reason i am giving these stats is to prove that he has had a good car every year at Texas and his finishes show it. He has been dominating the chase and i don't expect him to slow down yet. He is going to win tomorrow and increase his lead in the chase by even more.

Jimmie Johnson has had a good car week in and week out which is why he is leading the chase...Jimmie is going to have another good race with a good pit crew and smart driving that he gives every week putting him in a position to win every week.

Disagree? Lets TD!!!!!!!

ok i went to the qualifying rounds yesterday and observed for myself how fast two guys went all day: Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards.

Jimmie has been great but every driver has their one chase "mulligan" or where they have a bad race. I think that Jimmie eats the turn 2 wall tomorrow due to a tire or maybe a driver like Kyle Busch who has nothing to lose hit him.

I am going to say that Jeff Gordon wins tomorrow due to fact that he was tied for 3rd in practice friday and qualified on the pole as the only driver to go over 191mph. I think that he has the momentum from his first ever win at TMS in April and will win again Sunday. Jeff has one only once all year and it came at TMS so why change now?

i mentioned Carl Edwards. Edwards, who won 9 races in '08, has failed to reach Victory Lane this year and has lost his practice of his signature backflip this year. Carl has had another fast car and dominated the TMS track last year winning both races but i think that he finishes 2nd tomorrow unless he gets collected in the Jimmie Johnson wreck.

So i say Jeff wins while Jimmie finishes around 25th due to the dreaded track and envious drivers

1) J.Gordon
2) Edwards
3) Martin

Gordon and Carl may have been the fastest in qualifying but Jimmie Johnson was fastest in Final Practice....Just because he didnt qualify in the top 10 doesn't mean you can't count him out....Jimmie is one of the best drivers Nascar has seen in years he has a crappy car at the beginning but somehow still gets a top 5....Jeff Gordon a very good driver also has not had much success at Texas as his career finishes are 1 win 7 top 5's and 9 top 10's...almost identical stats as Jimmie Johnson and Gordon has been racing quite a bit longer than Jimmie has......

Jimmie has almost always been good like you said Edwards won both last year, Jimmie was right there with him ready to make his move anytime soon......Edwards is WINLESS this year because he just doesn't have a good car week in and week out like Jimmie does....Jimmie is more consistent in his driving than Edwards and Gordon....Jimmie has some pretty good momentum after last weeks top 10 at Talledega and not being in a wreck like recent years......

More to Come

ok now that we saw the race today and know who won lets review:

Lap 2: The guy YOU said would win wrecks on Lap 2 in turn 3 (sounds like something I said) and finishes 38th and loses 111 points in the standings.

My guy finishes 13th after wrecking later on in the race. So advantage me.

I sure am glad that "Jimmie is good week in and week out and is more consistent in his driving than Edwards in Gordon"

If he is so consistent why didnt he win like you predicted? my guy at least finished somewhat close to where i said. Martin finished 4th, one behind what i said so whos better know mr i pick guys who finish 38th?

Jimmie is till points leader ain't he......Yeah he didn't finish well because he got wrecked...he was just at the wrong place at the wrong time......Gordon still couldn't take much advantage after JJ having a bad points day.....Edwards just is not doing well in the points at all.....

JJ has been racing at an insane level... And the way Chad Knaus handles the race team.... I don't think there's anybody who can stop JJ.

I vote Right, I don't think Jimmy will win, I'll go as far to say that Jimmy gets taken out on Lap 3 and sets behind the wall for over 100 laps and finishes in the mid 30s!

I can't really pick a side here. I hope for a tie!
