Creat a Major League roster with the best current baseball player at each position.
No DH, 3 non specific OF's (i.e. 2 CF and 1 RF, etc.) 3 SP, and 1 CL.
List players in the first argument and argue the changes in the second and third round.
C) Joe Mauer, Minnesota Twins
1B) Albert Pujols, St. Louis Cardinals
2B) Dustin Pedroia, Boston Red Sox
3B) Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankees
SS) Derek Jeter, New York Yankees
OF) Ichiro, Seattle Mariners
OF) Jason Bay, Boston Red Sox
OF) Ryan Braun, Milwaukee Brewers
SP) Zach Grienke, Kansas City Royals
SP) Tim Lincecum, San Francisco Giants
SP) Felix Hernandez, Seattle Mariners
CL) Mariano Rivera, New York Yankees

Figured those would be who i was up against. Now that we have offensive stats lets talk defense shall we.
Jeter over Ramirez
Ramirez had 10 Errors, 77 Double Plays, .983 Fielding %, 4.07 Range Factor and a 6.147 Zone Rating. According to ESPN, Ramirez ranks 5th in the NL at his postion defensively.
Jeter had 8 Erros, 75 Double Plays, .986 Fielding %, 3.90 Range Factor and a 6.480 Zone Rating. According to ESPN, Jeter ranks 1st in the AL at his postion defensvely.
Jeter had less Errors, better Fielding %, and a better Zone Rating.
Pedroia over Utley
Utley had 12 Errors, 97 double plays, .984 Fielding %, 5.05 Range Factor, and a 4.959 Zone Rating. According to ESPN, Utley ranks 6th in the NL at his postion defensively.
Pedroia had 6 Errors, 93 Double Plays, .991 Fielding %, 4.39 Range Factor, and a 5.792 Zone Rating. According to ESPN, Pedroia ranks 3rd in the AL at his positon defensively.
Pedroia has 1/2 the errors Utley does, a better fielding %, and a higher Zone Rating.
The offensive stats are misleading due to each players spot in the lineup. But regardless of your spot in the lineup you have to play defense. My guys play better defense.

Sure utley and ramirez are slightly less impressive defensively but you seem to ignore the huge difference in offense.
You also have failed to notice that jeter hit only 15 hrs on in the best HR park in the majors.
How about the clutch factor?
Utley over Pedroia
(post season stats (to be fair im only using WS stats for utley while using ALDS for pedroia))
Utley 6 hits,1 2B,5 HR, 8 RBI, 1 SB, 4 BB, 5 K, .286 AVG, .400 OBP, 1.048 SLG, 1.448 OPS
Pedroia 2 hits, 1 2B, 0 HR, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 0 K, .167 AVG, .231 OBP, .250 SLG, .481 OPS
Ultey showed his true colors of being a team leader and clutch hitter this postseason while Pedroia buckled under the bright lights!
Utley wins hits,HR,RBI,SB,BB,AVG,OBP,SLG,OPS
You didn't argue the pitchers because its clear that Haladay was a better pick. So even if I was to concede that Jeter was better than Ramirez i would win.(not that that is going to happen)
Hanley hit in a less friendly ballpark yet still managed 6 more HR and 40 more RBI. Besides that he did it on a team that scored almost 200 less runs (722) to (912)

Starting Pitcher..this is dumb. Everybody on here just goes for offense and homers. Pedroia and Jeter bring way more to the table for a team than Hanley and Utley. Lets see here..Pedroia has an MVP..the others do not. Jeter is prolly the most clutch hitter in baseball HISTORY. Both won Gold GLoves before. None of those NL guys can say that. Ridiculous. Quit being retarded fannation..i would aprreciate it:)
