For thsoe who have not seen the video, google it. She is more rought and tougher than any male soccer player ever.

I wouldnt call her rough or tough.

Id call her a cheater.

What she did was completely uncalled for and in no way attributes to her being rough, tough, or any good.

It was if anything horrifically violent, theres no place in any sport for that level of unsportsmanship, and complete disregard for the well being of other players.

I said she is tougher than any european soccer player.

Again Bconn you would be wrong.

She would get her ass handed to her in a handbasket had she done that to a male soccer player.

I know I wouldve hurt her small little sad feelings.

How could the referee have missed all of that?

Exactly... usually they'll eject you for brushing elbows

it's hard to believe that all 3 sets of eyes were focused elsewhere, but it appears that play was going on at a different part of the field so i guess it's possible. still, that hair pull was brutal

So beating someone in a friendly game of sport makes you tough.

You dig your giant, phallus-shaped grave with every poorly constructed sentence.

The left argument is indicative of the level of thought put into TD's nowadays. You have equated dirty play with toughness. That goes along with the other things bantered about nowadays: Tom Brady is the best ever, MMA takes more skill than golf, the SEC is the best conf. in history...
Read up on your sports history before weighing in folks.

Uh, has bconn ever heard of Vinnie jones?

Try REFEREES. There are 3 of them out there if you include the 2 side linesmen.

And no way is she tougher, if anything she was more of a coward as most of those situations were either done from behind the player she attacked or while they were in a defenseless position.

I would imagine that the BYU coaches and players were telling the refs what was going on and they should of seen it. I loved it when the one BYU player walked up to her after the game and pointed at the scoreboard to show that she was a LOSER.

you'd think so, but all the stuff they showed in the video and it netted one yellow card. i'm sure she was pissed they were losing, i know i can get pretty frustrated, maybe get a little chippy, but wow, just wow.

November 9, 2009  01:53 PM ET

really, bconn?

November 9, 2009  02:02 PM ET

Good players dont play like that...shes making up for her sucky talent by being a "bully" in sports...

Much like Charles Oakly of the NBA....

YEP, you win the award. Its a cut and dry thing to her...if you defend her style of play and her being good you are just as much as a coward as her.

Did you see the Vinnie Jones cop show? The USA version not that crap UK one...its not bad..hes no tough guy tho thats for sure.

Ms. Lambert should probably serve a 30 day jail sentence for assault.

November 9, 2009  03:15 PM ET

The quality of the play in the game, and it cut both ways, had nothing to do with European Soccer "toughness" nor "cheating". What it really reflected was the crappy quality of American coaching and refereeing. Crappy coaching because she shouldn't have been on the field if that is the way she plays, it has no business on the field. Crappy refereeing because the referee had a number of opportunities to see the rough play and do something about it, but also failing to make use of this line judges to know what was going on on the field. Too much of American soccer is based on power and not enough on skill, and this is a good example of why the US with the quality of its athletes never wins big on the soccer pitch, this style of play is too easy to beat. (Oh, remember the sports adage, it's not a foul, if it's not called? That's a copout for being less skilled than your opponents, win at any cost. Well, it may be a win in the standings, but it's a loss in life.)

Wow! I'm shocked! Well for all you soccer fans, if you think this is great, check out http://bit.ly/94ph1

I'm not sure how you interpret that I am defending her style of play because it is far from the truth. I feel she was doing this to cover up her lack of soccer skills. She shouldn't be allowed to play soccer again.
