Through eight games this year
Chris Johnson
144 carries-959 yards-6.7 yards per carry-119.9 yards per game-18 carries avg per game

Adrian Peterson
163 carries-784 yards-4.8 yards per carry-98 yards per game-20 carries avg per game

Chris Johnson has carried the ball 19 times less than AP but he still has 175 more rushing yards than AP

Chris Johnson is avg more yards per game with an avg of less carries per game than AP

Ap has gone over 100 in a game twice this year while Chris johnson has gone over a hundred 4 times this year and once over 200.

More to come

who is more explosive ap hands down

AP will tear up the rest of his schedule and shall overcome the 175 yard deficit

CJ has scored a 91 yard td this year and just had an 81 yards td run overturned in his last game

this year CJ has been far more explosive than AP has

when was the last time ap went over 100 yards a couple of weeks now i think not exactly sure

ooooooooooohhhh

a 91 yarder and a overturned one haha it was overturned fool

AP all the way the vikes will dominate the rest of the year and ap will gett 1200 yards rushing in the last 8 games

so hes gonna avg 150 yards each and every game highly unlikely

Ok. thank you mr. charles woodson for stating the completely obvious. But tell me this, who's going to the playoffs and possibly the SB and who's going to the lottery?

What the hell does that have to do with this throwdown?

jeez i helped out your side of the argument by posting ap career statistics against who he has to play the rest of the year and you still leave alright i will help out the right even some more.

CJ has never played -rams-dolphins-sd-seattle-cards-bills so who knows what he will do when he faces them his career against the texans 7.4 yards per carry against the colts 3.9 yards per carry and that is who cj plays the rest of the year

i agree chris johnson will rush for more yards than peterson. Only because he's the only offensive weapon tennessee has.

November 10, 2009  04:08 PM ET

Ok this TD was about pointless....but I think AP is the most overrated NFL RD period. I'll talk Johnson over him.
