This is Ottawa's year to go all the way

Unlike years past where there were great expectations, the senators came into the playoffs with very low expectations.
Coming in as a 4 seed they weren't expected to do much damage
they came in and beat Pittsburgh and stunned new Jersey.
They now have to beat Buffalo which they can do with a the hot goaltending of Ray Emery and the forwards like Spezza, Alfi and Heatley
This is the year Ottawa wins the stanley cup as everything is going thier way.
they have flown under the radar and have kept up a great comeptitive game throughout the playoffs


No way will they beat Buffalo. The Sabres have more heart, and after that huge fight during the regular season (in which emery got beaten up in) they have been the better team. If the Penguins had made the Playoffs last year, we wouldn't be having this conversation because the Senators would already be out 1.because the Pens have better players and 2.they didnt have the experience. Spezza and Heatley are good, yes, but Drury and Briere are better. The Senators will win because they have the heart for a Cup that the Senators dont.


where is your proof they have more heart?
you can just say something and not have anything to back it up
yes the sabres have the best regular sesason record but the playoffs is a whole different story
the sens have choked before in the playoffs but this year they have dominated thier last two openents and its safe to say a flop or choke will not happen again.
After getting past Buffalo they can beat Anahiem or Detroit in a 7 game series as long as Emery shows up and so does the offence


Ah the big question. Will Emery show up? I wouldn't bet on it. And as for heart, did you watch the brawl? That is TV evidence right there. They will be shut down, no question about it. Look for Drury to have some big games, as he is always clutch.

The west series should be a long way 6-7 gms which will allow Ottawa some rest
and the chance for them to win the coveted Stanley Cup


You have a point, they are up in the series. Sorry, but the Red Wings are the best team left, and even if u do beat the sabres you'll go down in 5 or 6 to the wings. Good luck i guess, cuz you'll need it big time, even for the rest of this series. Remember, you won cheaply the second game.....so don't start talkin S***
