1. Steve Nash (18.6 ppg 11.6 apg 3.5 rpg)
2. Jason Kidd (13.0 ppg 9.2 apg 8.2 rpg)
3. Baron Davis (20.1 ppg 8.1 apg 4.4 rpg)
4. Deron Williams (16.2 ppg 9.3 apg 3.3 rpg)
5. Chauncy Billups (17.0 ppg 7.2 apg 3.4 rpg)
6. Tony Parker (18.6 ppg 5.5 apg 3.2 rpg)
7. Andre Miller (13.4 ppg 7.8 apg 4.4 rpg)
8. Mike Bibby (17.1 ppg 4.7 apg 3.2 rpg)
9. Gilbert Arenas (28.4 6.0 apg 4.6 rpg) second to last because has not always been a point guard
10. Jason Terry (16.7 ppg 5.2 apg 2.9 rpg)

I will open with...Where in the world is Chris Paul on your list?
Is this in order or not? Because if your list is in order, why is Arenas at #9. Here's my list. Top 5 In Order. And then the rest.
1. Steve Nash
2. Tony Parker
3. Gilbert Arenas
4. Chris Paul
5. Baron Davis
6. Jason Kidd
7. Deron Wiliams
8. Chauncey Billups
9. Jason Terry
10. Kirk Hinrich
deleted said 07/27, 09:16 PM
yea i forgot about paul but i dont agree that you dont have bibby or andre miller there true point guards. Kirk doesnt score that much or get that much assists and are you serious whats kidd, billups and deron williams doing so far down williams has 9 and a half assists a game same with kidd and chauncy about 7 and a half. gilbert only has 6 apg.
Mac Has Left FN (For Now) said 07/27, 09:23 PM
First off...Let me edit what I said in the 1st argument. I accidentally put "in order". I meant..."Top 5 In No Order". I wanted to solidify those PG's as the Top 5, but not order them b/c I wasnt sure if you had made yours in order.
This is really a tough task for putting them in order.
1. Steve Nash
2. Gilbert Arenas
3. Baron Davis
4. Tony Parker
5. Chris Paul
6. Deron Williams
7. Jason Kidd
8. Chauncey Billups
9. Jason Terry
10. Kirk Hinrich
That is all in ORDER now.
Not having Bibby is no big deal. He isnt a distributor, which is what a PG is supposed to do. Miller is an average PG, not "dangerous" scoring threat, a passer more than anything. Hinrich is a solid balance. 16 PPG, and 6.3 APG. Solid. Better than Miller or Bibby, at least to me. Deron Williams doesnt need much to get to the Top 5, but its still hard to put him ahead of Paul. Paul #'s: 17.3 PPG, 8.9 APG, and a great defensive threat with 1.8 SPG.

well since u changed your order ill change mine
1. Steve Nash
2. Jason Kidd
3. Baron Davis
4. Gilbert Arenas
5. Deron Williams
6. Chauncy Billups
7. Tony Parker
8. Chris Paul (since he was injured for almost half of his career
9. Andre Miller
10. Mike Bibby
I wouldnt usually be **** like this but if you can change your order so will I
Mac Has Left FN (For Now) said 07/27, 10:23 PM
Now looking at your new order...I still dont get how Kidd is #2. He's a Top 10, maybe Top 5, but not Top 3. I see you added Paul, but have him way to far down. And your reasoning doesnt make any sense. How does his injuries bring him so far down? His stats are incredible for such a young player. And then, I see you took off Jason Terry. To me, Terry is more deserving than Mike Bibby.
This TD has really been screwed up from the beginning. Both of us making new orders in the middle of it. lol.
Overall, I think you arent giving enough credit to Paul, Parker, or Hinrich. And are giving way to much credit to Kidd and Bibby.

Oops. Typo. I meant "Top 5 In No Order".
The Top 5 is my Top 5, but in no order.
The whole Top 10 is in no order.

this is interesting : first i dont think mike bibby should be on the list i think chris paul deserve to be on the list.
this is hard but since the 2nd arguement has jason kidd as number 5 which is insane because jason kidd is top 5 point guards ever and he still has the most triple doubles in the league and third on assist list although he does not have the talent steve nash has , then i have to vote for philly fan

I dont have Kidd in my Top 5 because of he's not a scoring threat. At least not a deadly one. So, I have guys like Williams and Paul ahead of him because they bring balance to their game, great scoring threats and great distributors as well.
This is about today.
But if it was about All Time, Kidd would be near my Top 5, but thats another TD.
