I am getting tired of Bonds 24/7 on the Bonds network and the Bonds Radio Network.

I will be very happy when the man finally takes the record and life can move on. Yes he took roids and no I can;t prove it. Yes he hit ball far and no I don;t care. I am sick and tired of this whole thing. I hate to see a great Man like Aaron get passed by this guy.

Wake me when A-Rod get to 745 and I can care about the lifetime record.

Anyone here think they can convince me why I or America should care?


OK, I see what your saying. And I'm getting tired of Bonds too. I don't want to see every single pitch of Bond's at bats on Sportscenter. But I think you should care because he is gonna break the biggest record in sports. Would you care if Griffey was breaking the record? Of course because everyone loves him. Most people are tried of Bonds because they just don't like him. I don't like him either but it still is a big deal.I know this argument sounds all over the place, but it is a huge deal.


I am not a huge baseball fan and have not been since the strike, I won;t bore you with details but lets just say forced hours of WGN were involded.

Bonds has not allowed me to care about his carrer so far and that trend continues today.

It is a big deal but am I going to stop what I'm doing to look? Am I going to change off CSI or even pause my Kids VeggieTales to see?

Is it going to stop me from FF in Sportcenter so I can get the 4 1/2 minutes of non-vick football they let me have and the 2 minutes of NBA that I'll get other than refgate?

Barroid (love that name and Kudos to the creator) hits 756 and I'll care almost as much as when he hit 716,700,500, and his 3rd HR in little league

Back when he had a hatsize in double digits.


I completely understand what you're saying(VeggieTales is awesome, BTW) You don't have to turn that stuff off to care. Maybe the fact that you have not been a huge baseball for a while plays into this. Obviously, anyone who loves baseball cares about it, weather they like it or not. Some baseball fans say they don't care, but they really do. That person would say he/she doesn't care and than when you tell them that Bonds hit another one, than they care. And once again, just because you don't like him doesn't mean it isn't a big deal.


It may be more the fact that he has been run into the ground more than anything else- I cared when Ripkin broke the record- I watched that game, If A-rod gets to 750 I'm sure I will care if he gets that far.

Bonds? No He has been the face of steriods for so long as we cannot escape him on ESPBonds unless the yankees score.

Its just that Bonds has cheated Baseball, the fans and a great man like Aaron. Most of all he has cheated himself. Back when he was mortal he won 3 MVPs and deserved a spot amoung the greats of his game. Now like others he's cheated what he was for the money and glory of a *

and I still don;t care.


It seems like you care alittle bit by making this TD. Maybe that is just me. We all know he cheated. That is obvious. But it is still the HR record. Does Bonds deserve it? No. But it is still huge news. ESPN is giving it too much attention, but what else is new. They do that to anything they like. I really do feel sorry for Aaron and for MLB(even though is it partly there fault)but people should still care.
