Los Angeles Lakers/Los Angeles Clippers, San Diego/San Francisco Giants/Los Angeles Dodgers/Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, San Diego Chargers... just a few examples.. hah.

Goal: NBA, MLB, NFL.. They have to play in the same state.

I'm going with the Boston Celtics, Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots.

Celtics - With the addition of Kevin Garnett, the Celtics are contenders to be at-top the Eastern Conference come the end of the season. They now have three All-Star caliber players who seem very excited to work together towards gaining a Championship.

Red Sox - The 2004 World Series champions. With the addition of Gagne to their bullpen, although I felt it wasn't the smartest move giving up some of the prospects they did (although that's another throwdown), it will be strengthened. Gagne is a former Cy Young winner, and a few years back recorded 55 saves in 55 save opportunities.

Patriots - Dominating the football world for a few years now, winning three championships in four years from 2000-2005. The Patriots are said to be at top of the football world again this season and looking to make their way into the Super Bowl.

You make a good point ,but I'm gonna have to go with the
Lakers,Chargers,Angels all from Cali.

Chargers, with new QB Rivers and the best Rb in the league LT are unstoppable and gonna make a good run for the 07,08 superbowl.

Angels, are making a good run for the playoffs with Vlady on their team.

Lakers, are a better team than the Cel;tics by a long shot expecially with Kobe on their side.

I have to disagree about the Lakers. They USED to be better than the Celtics. The Celtics have one of the best trio's in all of basketball. As I said.. three All-Star caliber players. Garnett didn't feel he was going to be able to go to any other place and have the same talent he was getting with Boston. Allen, Peirce, and Garnett are a force you don't want to mess with. The Lakers don't have Shaq, Horry, etc. anymore.

The Angels do have Vlad, but what else do they have? Colon is far from what he used to be, and he's on the DL. Sure, Matthews can make some exciting plays and Figgins can make any game exciting on the base paths, but is that what people go to the games to see? They want to see them win. Kotchman has good talent, but again, they don't go there to see him play. The Red Sox have the best record in baseball on top of that.

The Patriots, as stated below by TheSportsGuy, added two dominate receivers and a great linebacker. They are another force you don't want to mess with.

The Lakers have a better basketball team, not by much but they still are better.Kobe carries most of that team very far with his many high scoring games.

The Angels are a great team. They have one of the best hitting offenses in the league. With Vlad leading thier O, and dominate pitchers helping them out. They are a playoff team.

Yea well I wouldnt want to mess with the Chargers either. They have a young QB who is dominating the pass and running game. And arguebly the best RB in years. LT is a machine out on the field setting records left and right. The Chrages really get other teams by their great running and great passing. Thier O line is also one of the strongest in the league, helping LT get some major yards and Rivers all the time in the world to throw. Their D isnt even all that bad. They have an average D whom can equaly stop the pass and rush.

Yes. I am a fan of the Lakers, but the reason he scores a lot is because he rarely passes the ball. 81 points in a single game can back that up for me. Soon enough he'll pass Chamberlain's 100.

The Red Sox are a playoff team, too. They have an *outstanding* bullpen.. even without Gagne they are the best bullpen in baseball. Ortiz, Ramirez, Lowell, Youkilis, Varitek, Beckett, Okajima, Gagne, Papelbon, Matsuzaka.. yeah all sound like big names to me. They have the best record in baseball. That says enough.

Phillips...Brady. I'll take Brady. They do have a dominate rushing game, but the Patriots still have the better all-around package. Moss and Stallworth are going to be great additions. Thomas, too. Brady is one of top-three quarterbacks in the game.. thought of as number one by many. I'll still take Peyton though.

There is another good one out there. I was debating on which I should take.

Looking forward to the battle.

Explain?

August 1, 2007  10:09 AM ET

If you mean in the past... I mean like right now. If you want to go back a few years to make a point (like I did with the Patriots), you can.

Mass. definetly. They Pats have Stallworth and Moss added at reciever with Thomas at LB. The Sox just added Gagne and have the best record in baseball and the Celts have one of the leagues top trios.

celtics havent proven anything yet. i would go w/ cali as well. angels/chargers/WARRIORS. and if you want hockey we got the ducks (or sharks. they r both better than the bruins) and for arena football, the sabercats.
