Fannation Throwdown league week 3 Andre' Woodson is the most under rated QB in college football

Ok I picked Andre for the following reasons he puts up amazing numbers with a poor supporting cast and he has to play agianst some of the nations toughest teams in the SEC. Kentucky was a joke in football up until Woodson took over they QB position he lead them to thier first bowl game in over 20 years and has single handly gave the program hope. Outside of Kentucky football fans he is not know on a national level as much as some. He has a passer rating to rivial Qb's such as Louisville's Brian Brohm and others here are his stats for the 06 season.

He had a great passer rating and did well in big games he had 3 Tds through the air at Louisville and in other big games. With most of thier starters returing this will be the year that woodson will step up and show what he can do. Based on this that is why I say he is the most underrated.


Ok as much as I like Woodson, I have to take Patrick White. This guy was the Big East Offensive Player of the Year last season yet all you here about is Brian Brohm. Pat White has almost identical number to Vince Young in his first two seasons. He leads one of the most potent rushing attacks in recent history. Last year in one game he rushed for 247 yards and threw for 229. Alot of people have this idea he cant throw. With one more passing attempt he would have finished 9th in qb completion rate.


Ok dude this was for a Td league why did you accept it and another thing it says most underated and when has pat white been under rated please tell me everyone knows who he is. You compare him to Vince young and everyone knew him outside of sec fans Woodson is not well know. Thanks I really apprecite you wasting my time


I didn't know sorry. Everybody knows who Woodson is too. He finished higher than White in last years Heisman vote. He is listed on the Mel Kipers board for the next draft at 8. So how is he more under-rated than White? Stop cyring and make a new TD and list that is for a group only. The reason White is the most under-rated is because he plays in a conference with four other heisman contenders and the front runner in the conference is in his own backfield.


Wow I dont even want to touch on all that is wrong with that. I clap for white he plays in the big east and woodson plays in the aSec where anyone can upset anybody at anytime. Woodson did put up better numbers then white and he was under the rader less then white also, Thanks for proving my point by saying woodson is better and why would I put fanation TD league if I wanted to make it open to the public dee dee dee. The sec has some of the best players in the country everyone is good not just 4 players


He put up better numbers than White??? Did you forget to look at the rushing statistics? White even had a better passing completion rate.69% to 63% He just plays on a team that no defense can stop their rushing attack so he doesn't have to pass. I didn't say he was better than White. I said he was just as well known as White. Patrick White is on of the most under-rated players in college, because people think all the can do is run, and that is not the case. Could Woodson rush for 247 in a game?

i dont konw if you would call it underrated, but unknown, is the best qb in the country at appy state, edwards, as a true freshman he piled up passing and rushing yrds and won the only real national championship in college football

Also under rated does not mean necessarialy that people don't know who you are. It means that people don't know who good a player is.

Seems to me Woodson is listed very high among most scouting lists. Sounds like he's a great player, very much like Jay Cutler was his last season; very talented, and playing on a lesser-known team. I'm not sure if that makes him underrated, but in my eyes, I don't follow the SEC very much at all, and I know Woodson's a helluva player.

So think of it this way, Kentucky, he may not be underrated, but he's gonna do good things for your boys this year.
