21-17 Houston
i will explain my reasoning in next argument

I dont think so. I say the Chiefs win. With a new quarterback, new running back, not much improvement on the O-Line, and not that great of a defense, the Texans will lose. The Chiefs will just hand the ball to Johnson, and watch him go. The Chiefs have a superior defense, and a superior offense. The Texans offense will improve as the season goes on, but they wont come out clicking right from the start. With Holmes reportedly healthy, and if Johnson plays, the Chiefs win.

24-17

superior defense?
they lost there best defensefive player (Dante Hall)and their best DE is suspended for 4 games.
the texans D was a top ten Defense in the lst 10 games which is a hell of alot better than the chiefs who were like number 17. besides chiefs have new QB brodie croyle 2nd year man who last year with 17 attempes threw two ints.
and they are at houston which has one of the noisest crowds in the NFL. i will say the rest in the next argument cause i am running out of room!

Did you really just say Dante Hall was there best defensive player? He was a receiver and Kick returner, how does that affect defense? Honestly with that comment, do I even need to continue to argue? They will most likely come in to the season with Huard as the starter, who had a solid half season last year, is a more veteran guy, and then they can ease Croyle in, and let him play, once KC is in last place, about half way through the year. This is not even gonna be a good game. But KC wins in a yawner, and no one may realize that this game took place.

i would type a long thing describing how they will woop KC
but i dont have the time
and i also dont feel like wasting my time arguing with you fools that are so close minded
but when houston beats KC i will be smiling and you will be like oh man he was right
well "Kudos"

Ok, so then basically you are out of arguments? The Chiefs are a much more veteran, battle tested team, with a much better head coach, and I guarantee you they will be much better prepared for the game. The Texans may have talent, but they are youn, inexperienced, and have a history of losing. Its that simple. the Chiefs are a contender, year in and year out, and the Texans are doormats, year in and year out. Football has a lot to dude with attitude, its a very mental game, and the Texans clearly dont know how win, therefore, thats why I doubt they will.

August 3, 2007  12:14 AM ET

Adam aint taking this throwdown.......and I dont blame him, you have 9 votes on an arguement that is only a score, if you at least opened strong he probably wouldn't mind losing to a good arguement....

Thats pure speculation, but thats how I would feel at least.

Is it in Houston or Arrowhead? If it's in KC and LJ plays, the Chiefs win. If not then Texans.

I wouldn't take this throwdown either. I might argue of the winner, but not the score.

August 3, 2007  08:42 AM ET

Ya, I dont know where this guy came up with that one. I only stated a score, as to not appear to be avoiding it. Still waiting to see what he has to say. I am just trying to get some throw downs under my belt, ya know, get some experience, so i can domiate.

I predict, right here and now, that this game will produce the loudest snores this country has ever heard.

August 3, 2007  09:21 AM ET

I second that, this has all the makings of Boringest Game of the Year.

August 3, 2007  09:56 AM ET

Teaxans, boringest....is it make up your own word day? how dorktastic Fannation is today.

Uh oh, we messed with Texas. We've seen "King of the Hill" (i.e. the best documentary of central-north Texas), so I know things are going to get rough at this years chili cook off. Even worse, we'll be seen on one of the 9,000 episodes of "Cops" filmed in Dallas/Ft. Worth or wherever else in the Metroplex.
