One of the only the huge factors for the Eagles has been McNabb and he has already proven that he can come off injuries very well

I don't think the Eagles have a strong enough sense of who they are right now to say they are better than the Cowboys. McNabb loses his big play threat Donte' Stallworth on offense, and he was the straw that stirred McNabb's drink last year. Before he got hurt, anyway.

Probably more of a concern, though, Takeo Spikes will take over at the right side linebacker spot, and either Dedrick Roper or Chris Gocong will be at the left. Take either one of them, and add them with Spikes and Trotter, you have zero combinations that started a game together last season. Kearse missed pretty much all of last season, and has missed 31 games in the last five years. Where's the chemistry going to come from on defense?

McNabb has Reggie Brown who a lot of people think will have a breakout year and at the left linebacker spot will be either Chris Gocong or rookie linebacker Stewart Bradley will see what they can do in training camp in a interview with Trotter he said that he is his "road dog" and would"take a bullet for him if needed to" that is so much chemistery right there

Michael Vick is probably considered a "road dog" too, that and a buck fifty will get you a cup of jack squat.

You say Brown MIGHT break out this year? I sure hope so, cuz 48 catches ain't gonna cut anything in Philly except his position coach.

I am not a Romosexual. I do think the guy is good enough to keep the team competitive. He's had the whole off-season to focus on being the starter, and frankly, he's a little better of an option than Early-Season Bledsoe was last year. Even with Bledsoe's setbacks, and a weak finish by Romo, they still finished 9-7.

A strong 2-RB attack will be led by Marion Barber and Julius Jones, both of whom are rested, healthy and dynamic playmakers. And that's not even including TO. His surgically repaired finger will be able to help him cure the alarming amount of drops he had last year.

But most importantly with the Cowboys, look at the defense. DeMarcus Ware is fitting in nicely into an elite pass rushing OLB, and ILB Bradie James has greatly improved each season as a pro. It's a good combination of talent and efficiency, and look at what will happen when you throw Carpenter in there as well.

The Eagles easiley have the best D-Line in the NFC East they have Brodrick Bunkley who i am not saying MIGHT he WILL break out this year Mike Patterson has been a nice fight for the Eagles they have Rokie Victor Abiamiri who Jim Johnson was saying is the best rookie in camp right now they got rite of head case Darwin Walker they have Monte Reagor who will be a nice fit in the Eagles rotation

As a man, I hate periods too, and I???m glad I don't have them, but using them when you write is ok. Just a tip...

I would hope Bunkley "WILL" break out this year. The Eagles probably want him to break THROUGH the line though, considering that seemed to be his biggest problem last season. He doesn't dominate the point of attack, and if he can't do that, he won't tie up blockers to help free up Kearse.

Every team in the NFL is going to have a guy labeled the best rookie in camp right now. What difference does it make? Ya know what other rookie looks pretty good right now? Anthony Spencer. You might remember him. He's the soon-to-be-stud the Eagles felt they were strong enough at OLB to draft. He's got good size for a 3-4 OLB, and pretty good speed. The Eagles lack athleticism in their linebacking corps, and that???s enough right there to suggest Dallas is the better team heading into the preseason schedule.

Thank you, and please vote for the best argument.

"in a interview with Trotter he said that he is his "road dog" and would"take a bullet for him if needed to" that is so much chemistery right there "

Did this guy actually make reference to someone being trotter's "road dog"? And somehow this influences the teams defensive "chemistery" how??? And actually I think the proper slang term is "roll dog"....

August 3, 2007  07:28 PM ET

These philly homers are just spectacular for throwing votes at dunnsteins ill conceived and poorly argued point.... lol

August 3, 2007  07:29 PM ET

August 3, 2007  07:33 PM ET

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=roll+dog

it is defined... and used in context on this site...

apparently roll dog is the more often used term. "rode" dog, not "road" dog means the same thing but is apparently much more affluent in the verbage of the prison community according to this website... LQTM
