I was just looking at this comment made by Frank Beamer:

"Eight months later, Frank Beamer has floated an excuse for Virginia Tech's 31-24 loss to Georgia in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl. The coach believes that maybe, just maybe, Georgia had an extra set of eyes and ears near the Hokies' practices leading up to the game. "We practiced out at Georgia Tech and we let all kinds of people through there ... people we didn't really know," Beamer told The Roanoke Times. Georgia coach Mark Richt understood Beamer's concerns, but he also was quick to douse any rumors of espionage."

I MEAN, COME ON PEOPLE! For one thing, Beamer is kind of late in saying this, not saying it's true. For another thing, VT was winning 21 to NOTHING going in to the half. Virginia Tech BLEW IT! Beamer just wants to make an excuse for losing a football game they had wrapped up. Another team blew a big lead in their bowl, Minnesota. You didn't hear Glen Mason saying there was spies from Texas Tech before the game. No, he took the loss like someone should, but in return IS FIRED. VT probably could have took the same route with Beamer by just asking him to step down.


Lol. The funniest part of this ridiculous argument is that you are comparing Glen Mason to Frank Beamer.

How do you know something like that didn't happen? Were you at tech's practice. Were you with coach Mark Richt? I am not saying anything happened, but I am not saying something didnt happen either. I am sure someone like Frank Beamer would not just go outin Public and say "They cheated us" if he didnt have anything to back it up with,

Lol. Comparing Glen Mason and Minnesota to Frank Beamer and Virginia tech.


I didn't really compare Mason and Beamer, but their teams bowl situation last year. I still don't really see why Beamer waited this late to say he thought someone cheated him. Like i said before, 21 TO NOTHING. VT had this game won, but they blew it. Georgia had a comeback, VT couldn't score, point to UGA. Either way if Beamer really and truly believes someone from UGA watched VT practice, Virginia Tech still lost because they couldn't put up anymore offense in the 2nd half, and nothing will change that.


Yeah you did compare them. You were comparing them by saying Mason didnt argue, and Beamer did. Mason lost his job because Minnesota has been nothing short of terrible.

Beamer can say whatever he wants. This TD was totally stupid, I dont even know why I bothered arguing since I am going to win anyway it looks like.


Mason had brought Minnesota to a winning season like every year, but that arguement is for another TD. I REALLY DON'T see how you could POSSIBLY win this, unless everyone who votes is Virginia Tech fans. Look, Beamer is just an old coach who is looking for ANY excuse for a loss, this case in point. Beamer should have just said "They outplayed us in the Second Half, We lost." END OF STORY, but NO, he has to start a rumor that Georgia had spies watch VT practice. I actually admired Frank before, BUT NOT NOW.


Whatever. I dont even need an argument for this. I feel like I have already won, now we just have to wait so I can convince you with me getting more votes that i won.

Frankly, doesn't just about every team do this? If you're that worried close your practices! I have a lot of respect for Beamer but this is pretty ridiculous.

So did Gerogia only bust out the plays they scouted after going down by 21? You think they would have put the "cheating" to better use earlier than what they did.

I think stuff like that happens all the time, actually. Nobody will admit it, of course, but it must happen since it is so easy to do so. Not like VT would have won anyway.
