together they have 19 national championships 35 sec championships
texas and okie have 11 national championships and 69 confrence champonships
but texas used to be in a different confrence and neither team has had as much competitiion in the SEC as their is in the Big 12

Texas vs. Oklahoma rivalry is a better rivalry than Alabama vs. Auburn. The winner of Texas vs. Oklahoma gets the Golden Hat Trophy. This rival is also known as the Red River Shootout. The winning team???s state is supposed to get ownership of the Red River for one year until the next game. This rival is played on a neutral field. They play in Dallas, Texas which is exactly halfway between the two schools. This rival is better than Alabama vs. Auburn???s rivalry. Also Notre Dame vs. USC rivalry is better than Alabama vs. Auburn???s rivalry. Texas vs. Oklahoma is a better rivalry than Alabama vs. Auburn.
