colts have a chance at winning the superbowl......twice!

they were the champions last year and now with mostly the same squad, they could do it again.

and also now that they got anthony gonzalez out of the draft the other teams will have another downfield threat to deal with. the colts already have one of the best active WR's in the game right now (marvin harrison) and they also have reggie wayne. they have a very good RB too. it will be hard to beat them this season. im not going as far as undefeated season though. (its a possibility compared to their record last seasons record.)

The Colts had an incredible run last year and their defense really stepped it up in time for the playoffs. BUT...they will not repeat. I hate to say it but New England once again is the team to beat. They by all means shouldn't have blown that 21 point lead in last years AFC Championship game to the Colts. And now with the additions of Moss, Stallworth, Thomas on defense which is huge, a healthy Seau, and their draft pick Meriwather...New England is a force to reckon with.

Colts lost Rhodes which isn???t a big deal, but it will be interesting to see how Addai. Stokley was a key go to guy for Manning and we will have to see how rookie Gonzales will replace him. Colts also lost Cato June and with the recent loss of McFarland the Colts have major concerns once again about that D Line. Did you see how the 1st Offense of the Cowboys man handled them in the 1st preseason game? It is preseason after all, but Dallas??? Time of Possession was ridiculous. If the Defense cant stop the drives then it limits Peyton???s time on the field. That is bad for the Colts.

the patroits did not blow that 21 point lead in the playoffs, the colts just completely out played them. and even though the patroits got some good trades the colts are still a very powerful force that will take a very good team to trade punches with this powerhouse. and i dont think the patroits have what it takes.

plus the patroits are turning out to be just like the yankees in baseball. they get all the the good players and they all have no chemistry together. then all the sports world starts turning on them.

You must be kidding me?

The Patriots don't have what it takes? I guess Brady doesn't know how to win or the Patriots are use to losing? Oh wait they did win those 3 SBs, are a contender every year, and took the Colts to the wire last year in the AFC game.

Like the Yankees? Patriots get all of the good players? More like they get rid of the good players. What are you talking about?? The Patriots are not known for signing big players. This was really their first big year at signing big name people. Last year they release Branch and Brady has to make due with what he had. No real offensive big name players. And yet, BOOM team chemistry molds them together and they make it to the AFC title game.

You need to do a better job at composing your arguments.

no big name players? bull crap. they had troy brown, reche caldwell, laurence maurony and ben watson. make due with what he had.....you need to get your story straight. you are not giving these players any credit for getting brady into the playoffs to get beat down by the colts.
and the patroits lost because the colts just wanted the title more than they did. the curse was broken because of their drive to make it to the SB. and when they got there, they didn't blow it.
and chemistry doesn't just show up out of nowhere.they have to know each other first.

colts are not my favorite team but i think they have the biggest chance of winning again this season.

of course they have a chance. they have a great chance. dumb throwdown.

Report Offensive Comment

dont vote for yourself. thats just cheating!

Report Offensive Comment

are you even going to argue?

Report Offensive Comment

saying a "chance" is not really taking a side for a throwdown. So I am assuming you are just saying they will repeat. In TD language a "chance" basically means you think they will.

Report Offensive Comment

throwdowns are a battle of facts and what you think. plus all the facts point to them.

Report Offensive Comment

They do? Funny I just presented some facts that point to New England and the holes on the Colts' Defense.

Stokley was a key go to guy for Manning and we will have to see how rookie Gonzales will replace him.

Stokley caught a total of 8 passes last year?

628 yds and 2 td in the last 2 seasons.

RIGHT hard to fill his shoes.

Wrestling Maniac, the Colts needed two terrible calls--Ellis Hobbs pass interference and Tully Banta-Cain roughing the passer--to give them two touchdowns to essentially win the game towards the end. The Colts were as lucky to beat the Patriots as the Patriots were to beat the Chargers the week before.

You point out how Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne are the best WR duo in the NFL(which is absolutely correct), but Harrison didn't do a damn thing against the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game and Reggie Wayne did an okay job working against Ellis Hobbs. The problem was that Dallas Clark just kept running post routes over the middle of the field and the Patriots couldn't do anything about it. Now the Patriots have Adalius Thomas who can cover Dallas Clark(as he showed in the Colts-Ravens divisional round game).

HAHHAHAHA I BROKE THE SYSTEM!!!! My post submitted twice that's awesome. I guess my argument was that good.

Report Offensive Comment

your arguement sucked that much they needed to read it twice to see if you were not crazy.

Report Offensive Comment

hahaha. funny I guess I only get 2 arguments. Something strange happened there with the order. Oh well i stand by what I said. It is enough to win this TD. Colts are a good team but will not repeat as the reasons I stated above.

Your argument was dumb once again.

these people are big names and were standouts last year????

laurence maurony was a rookie last year so I fail to see your point there.

Troy Brown has been with the Patriots his entire career and last year had 43 catches for 384 yards and caldwell had 61 catches for 760 yards. Nothing impressive there. Get your facts straight kid.

Report Offensive Comment

Romo Era it is because you hit the submit argument button TWICE because you didn't have the patience to wait for it to load (at least that's what it is usually from).

Report Offensive Comment

EVERY team has a "chance" to win it all at least twice...every team has a "chance" to win it all EVERY year ....question isn't do they have the "chance" , question is "can they" ? Goofy TD at best

Report Offensive Comment

im not saying they were standouts im just saying that they are the guys that got the patriots that far in the first place. brady just had to get it to them. maurony was pretty good last year despite it was only his rookie year.those WR stats arent that good but thats better than putting in 3rd string WR's. you gotta think before you talk there pat man. its sad when i start talking about the good the pats were when its your arguement. go back to espn.com and study your facts. you need it.

Report Offensive Comment

i never vote for myself. i have too much pride in doing that eagle hater.those are votes from everyone but never from me. you will never see me do that.
plus why did romo era get a vote when he didn't even have an arguement out yet? looks to me like hes the one that needs to stop voting for himself.

there is no point with trying to reason with this guy. I mean for God's sake his name is wrestling maniac 619 and he sports a picture of rey mysterio. Do us a favor and stick to wrestling. You obviously know nothing about the NFL.

Report Offensive Comment

and yes you are correct you only BLOW a 21 point lead. The colts did not just completely out play them or they would not have been down 21 points to start. The Patriots dropped a lot of passes in the second half, got my questionable calls, and BLEW the lead.

tony dungy just gives better pep talks than the pats hc
