Espn Magazine is false when they state that Drew Brees is third right over Tom Brady. I think Brady is better.


He has the experience in playoffs and super bowls.

A great new team with great new wide receivers.

He puts up a lot of points and will only put up better stats.

Oh, well in that case, I agree with ESPN.

In terms of fantasy Brees is higher than Brady. Brees threw for almost 900 more yards, had 2 more TDs, and 1 less INT.

Just because he suddenly has Moss and Stallworth (who BTW, is massively overrated) doesn't mean his numbers are going to shoot through the roof. NE will still maintain that 'pound it out' mentally, especially with that defense.

Brees is in a pass-happy offense. I expect his numbers to grow a bit now that he's in the second year of the system. He'll have 30+ TDs this year.

anyone watch the Titans vs Pats last night?

I only watch for about 5 minutes, but I first turned it there, and saw my boy Brady getting RANSACKED into the ground, throwing a pic, then the first play for the Titans, Young got SO BLINDSIDED I cracked up, can't believe ye didn't see a beast coming from right in front of him.

I'd say upgraded. Not newer. Still has Belichick and all that. And as for a metaphor, that is not one. A metaphor is "Reggie Jackson is the straw that stirs the drink." Not "A great new team." And what are we discussing? Fantasy value or overall?
