The top 5 heisman canidates

1. John David Booty

2. Steve Slaton

3. Darent McFaden

4. Ray Rice

5. Colt Brennan


Hi. This is in order.

1. Slaton
2. McFadden
3. J.D. Booty
4. Colt Brennan
5. P.J. Hill/Ray Rice (tie)


ur wrong PJ hill isnt athletic enough to be in a heisman race and booty has so many weapons around him McFadden dosent and 6/7 last heisman winners were quaterbacks.


Although P.J. Hill is a Wisconsin style runner, meaning pure power and little athleticism, he has the team to do it around. Who cares whether or not the last 6 of 7 Heisman winners were QB's. Heck, the year Palmer won it, LJ should have won or have been the runner-up. However, PSU lack of promotion costed LJ those 2 spots. Also, are you trying to tell me McFadden is a QB, I don't think he is a QB. He is a RB. I put Brennan over Booty because Brennan is a system QB. Booty is good, however, I think Slaton and McFadden will outperform him.


Booty will get more votes than slaton because i think he will performe him and he has more key games than slaton . McFadden faces too much tough defensive teams like LSU Tennese and Florida also Auburn. Dont give me that Colt Brennan CRAP he faces to many week teams which hurts his chances and PJ Hill isnt a heisman canidate because he faces a tough defensive Michigan , Penn State and Ohio State which last year when he faced both michigan and PSU didnt performe like a possible heisman canidate which shows he dosent play good agaist real good defensive teams. Did u see him in the capital one bowl game vs. Arkansas . OUCH


Slaton will get more votes than Booty and McFadden. Like you said, McFadden faces stronger defensive teams, and Booty is good, however, Slaton will rack up stats on other teams. Last year, Booty somewhat managed the game, however, this year Booty will be relied on more, but Booty will not win the Heisman on account of the fact his defense will help him win some games. Slaton will win because he reminds me of Reggie Bush. He is about as elusive as him and he can catch the ball, too.

Brennan is a system product, and he played against absolutley no competition last year. He played one good team all last year Oregon State and HE SUCKED

Brennan plays in an awful conference. Has anyone ever won the Heisman from that conference? I don't think so. But, if there is someone please do tell.

The thing that may hurt Slaton's chances is that Pat White may steal some of his votes. It's hard to say who is the MVP of that team.

he's a canidate but not the #1 canidate, there are about 2 other QBs that are better then Booty.
