They had a great run, but with the talented cubs and championsjip cardinals right behind them it doesn't look to promising. The prince has slowed down, but they can still contend for the wild card

Brewers loosing? No way. The Cubs have been winning but they can't keep winning. Sure Prince has been slowing down but he is still producing runs. You forgot Ryan Braun. ROY. 26 homeruns in 3 monts. No one on the Cubs or Cadinals did that in there rookie year.

the brewers lack of experience will have them come up short, but watch out for them in a year or 2

There players are young but they only have 3 rookies who have been doing vary well, Gallardo, Parra and Braun. Who do the Cubs and Cardinals have.... Pujoles, Soriano (injured), Lee and Rameriz.

THE CARDINALS WON THE WORLD SERIES LAST YEAR, THEY KNOW HOW TO WIN!

NO THEY DON'T. THAT'S LAST YEAR. This year Two of the Cardinals and two of the Cubs made the All Star game. Four Brewers made the All Star game. How do you explain that.

Bad arguments from Tarheels rock my socks. Vote to #1BrewersFan even though he is a Brewers homer. And another guy from Havertown, PA. Must be the same guy.

August 20, 2007  02:45 PM ET

Well #1BrewersFan arguments aren't great, but they are better than what Tarheels rock my socks says.Vote to the Brewers homer though.

August 20, 2007  02:47 PM ET

brewers fan, go for your first win.

August 20, 2007  02:48 PM ET

Both of your arguments suck.

August 20, 2007  02:49 PM ET

You spelled Pujols wrong. It is not Pujoles, it is Pujols.

August 20, 2007  02:50 PM ET

Both arguements are awful= No vote.

August 20, 2007  02:53 PM ET

THENEST VOTE FOR ME WERE BOTH EAGLES FANS

"No way. The Cubs have been winning but they can't keep winning." --#1BrewersFan

Why do you insist on ignoring logic in your argument? That statement is completely ludicrous. Why can't a team continue to win? It happens all the time. At least if you are going to make bold statement such as that back it up by telling the readers why they cannot continue.

I have some of the same gears grinding for you too Tarheels, but I don't feel like going through another one.

thet are getting beat by the REDS!!!! WE ALL KNOW THE REDS ARE TERRIBLE....Also they are going on a west coast road trip...they wont win it...Plus they suck on the road

August 20, 2007  03:59 PM ET

Actually, a team can keep on winning. If you are familiar with baseball history, then you would know that the 1906 Cubs and the 2001 Mariners both won 116 games, a ridiculous and seemingly impossible feat. Both it has happened before, and could happen again. So you should not count out the Cubs, nor the Cards.

Tar Heel, we still have a TD to finish up. It's your turn.

August 20, 2007  11:12 PM ET

the crew is too talented to keep losing, plus benny sheets is comin back.
