I think we could go either way between McNabb/Palmer. Palmer has 60 TD's in the past 2 seasons leading the NFL.
My WR Core: 251 Receptions, 3,425 Yards, 22 TD's
Your WR Core: 203 Receptions, 2,958 Yards, 29 TD's
My RB's: 2,803 Yards, 25 TD's
Your RB's: 1,177 Yards, 21 TD's
My TE's: 162 Receptions and 9 TD's
Your TE's: 130 Receptions and 8 TD's
I believe I'd give my offense the nod "overall".
Defensively: You have a much weaker defense. Newman and Williams are part of the Cowboys who were terrible against the pass in 2006. My entire defense is made up of Steelers and Ravens. Both of which were inside the Top 10 in Defense last season. Your offense wouldnt be able to move the ball. My DB's combined had 17 INT's in 2006. My LB's of course came from two teams that dominated the run as a defense. The Raven's and Steelers together averaged only 82 Rush Yards Allowed a game in 2006. My 3 LB's combined for 283 Tackles in 2006. I cant say it enough, your offense wouldnt move an inch on my defense. And my offense would slaughter yours.
I could see this...AFC North: 31 NFC East: 10
Jerry Jones said 08/23, 04:18 PM
Look, Newman is a top 5 corner. He did not allow a touchdown all season last year. Roy's strength is not in covering and has been playing out of position. The rest of the league knows this, thats why he is so high profile. Rolle is like 98 years old. No question your defense is better, but the NFC East offense is much much better than yours. And Winslow? Please. Whitten is a 3 time consecutive Pro Bowler. Also the comparison is based on them being healthy, so when you brought up their numbers from last year, it was unfair to give Portis??? numbers
Mac Has Left FN (For Now) said 08/23, 04:29 PM
Really? The NFC East offense you posted is better? Really? And even if it was better, it certainly would not be "much much better". Thats pretty far fetched. You can not discredit a single one of my picks from my offense. It doesnt matter if you think your offense is better anyway, they wouldnt move on my defense that you admitted was better. Roy Williams strength is hitting guys, not covering. He gets lost out their in coverage so much allowing a lot WR's to go right by him. He would be a huge weakness against my AFL quality passing game. It is fair to use the stats, because as of late, your guys are not nearly as productive as mine. Witten is more of a blocker than a receiving TE. You cant discredit Winslow. He put up outstanding numbers for a TE, and especially one stuck in Cleveland. Right now, my offense is more of a guaranteed threat.

I told him to take his time while eating my clam chowder. He didnt listen.
Rosie really needs to leave me alone. Ever since I bought those cleaning supplies from her she keeps calling me. I guess she's lonely. Her wife must not be doing it for her anymore.

Hm, so, why aren't their offensive and defensive lines?!?!? DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!!! THAT is why the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game in 11 years.

But Mac- punter in the AFC north has to be sepulveda from PIT (i know he is a rookie). The kid is averaging over 50 yards a punt this pre season!!! 2 time ray guy award winner in college and he's a lefty. Left footed punters make the ball spin opposite and it makes it more difficult for returners to field the punt, hence more t/o's on special teams....

My DL if he had wanted it in the TD:
DE: Terrell Suggs
DE: Trevor Pryce
DT: Ted Washington (Big blob that would take 3 people down with him)
DT: Casey Hampton
And my OL if he had wanted it in the TD:
LT: Jonathan Ogden
LG: Alan Faneca
C: Mike Flynn
RG: Kendall Simmons
RT: Willie Anderson

Mike...I had never heard of the kid and his credentials from NCAAF.
So what! I wont ever have to punt against that defense. I'll just burn Terrence Newman in single coverage and DEE DEE DEE Roy Williams wont be there to help. TD's all day with Ocho Cinco.

So, Mac, if you ran a 4-3 you'd have TWO Nose Tackles!? That really doesn't make sense with a 4-3 and I'm pretty sure those two would suffer because of the differences.

that is very true mac... but a guy who punts over 50 yards avg. is worth picking..... just in case.. better to be prepared.. lol

Excuse me Ben...Your not making any sense.
In a 4-3 defense, there is 2 DE's, 2 DT's, and 3 LB's. Duh.
Or am I not understanding what your saying.
And so what, even if they bump into each other due to how fat they are, Ray Lewis would fill that gap by slamming Clinton Portis into the earth.
