I think that Chelsea FC will win the EPL.
Chelsea will win the EPL because of two main reasons.
1) Chelsea have talent!
2) Chelsea has lots of money.
I will argue number 1 first. Chelsea as the best starting 11 in the EPL no question un my mind.
GK: Cech one of the best in the EPL
DF: LB, Cole best LB in Europe and great going down the flank. LCB, Alex good but not great. RCB, Terry best CB in england. RB, Ivanovic decent RB.
MF: LM, Mikel good holding MF, CM, Essian, best MF from Africa RM, Lampard, best MF from England. Amazing on the attack.
ST: LF Malouda, great on the wing and can feed the other strikers. CF, Drogba, the best Striker in Europe. Rf Anelka another quality striker.
All 11 of the starters are stars on there respective national team. in addition all 11 of them are in there prime.
Do you think you know who will win the EPL then lets TD

Quite a homer pick, hey?
I choose Manchester United.
See, when you write that:
"1) Chelsea have talent!
2) Chelsea has lots of money."
... so does Man Utd!
It all starts with Sir Alex Ferguson, one of the premier coaches in soccer today.
Head coaches are a big part of team success, you didn't even mention that factor regarding Chelsea (see, I am helping you).
For Man Utd the success factors inside the pitch are obvious:
- GK: Edwin Van der Sar, still one of the greatest keepers in the world right now, as he has been able to age well
- DF: Gary Neville, Patrice Evra, Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Vidic, O'Shea.
On top of that they have two promising Brazilian youngsters in Rafael and Fabio. Plenty of solutions
- MF: Hargreaves, Ryan Giggs, Anderson, Park Ji-Sung, Carrick, Nani, Scholes, Darren Fletcher.
Very deep midfield unit, including rising and talented youngsters Nani and Anderson.
- FW: Wayne Rooney and Michael Owen.
But they have also got Berbatov and the recently acquired, one of the revelations of the last World Cup, "Chicharito" Hernandez.
More to come.

Number 1 Man U doesn't really have any money. they re broke.
Number 2 Chelsea has the best academy in England. and they actually have money, unlike Man U. in the academy they have Daniel Sturridge and Fabio Borni. also, they just got Brazilian MF Ramires.
Chelsea have depth in the goal scoring department. Unlike man u which top three goal scorers in 09-10were as follows.
1) Rooney 34
2) Berbatov 12
3) OWN GOALS! 10
Man U third leasing goal scorer was the Other Team. Not them that is sad.
Chelsea FC's top three goal scorers in 09-10
1) Drogba 37
2) Lampard 26
3) Anelka and Malouda 15
Even this seasons in the game during West Brom 3 of the 4 i named scored a goal. Including 2 by Malouda and 3 by Drogba.
the Man U DF is not good at all out of the 8 players u named 2 of them are over 31 and another 2 are 20.
Also, the Mf 2 of them are way past there prime not EPL quality anymore.
More in next argument.

So Man Utd aren't that good, their 3rd leading scorer is "own goals", etc.
Then care to explain why they finished 2nd last season, just ONE point behind Chelsea?
Because you "forgot" to mention that.
To be honest both teams didn't acquire a lot of talent this off-season, despite the claim that you make that Chelsea has a lot of money.
Chelsea got Ramires from Benfica and Benayoun from Liverpool. For a team with lots of money to spend they're... saving it ?!
Man Utd acquired Bebe from Portugal (he's actually a great prospect, I have seen him play a good number of times!), "Chicharito" from Mexico (one of the World Cup's breakthrough players, a very promising guy) and Chris Smalling from Fulham.
The Man Utd defense isn't good? Well, last season that defense let in fewer goals than Chelsea's defense! What about that? And Chelsea sold Ricardo Carvalho to Real Madrid.
As soon as I saw your Chelsea avatar picture I figured I was going in against a homer.
But basing your arguments on supposed money, on the supposed fact that Man Utd's team is not good at all?
I think you're going too far.

Chelsea acquired more talent in the offseason in Ramires and Benayoun, than Man U.
People want to play for Carlo Ancelotti. im not saying players dont want to play for Sir Alex, because they too. But right now Chelsea is a better equipped team to win the EPL than Man U.
I believe that not just because im a fan but because they have experience playing together. All 11 starters have played on the same pitch in a Blues kit before, so they are used to their teammates and know when to make the right pass. In Man U case there starting 11 in the game against Newcastle hasn't played with each other so they dont have the chemistry and wont always make the right passes.
Finally, the schedule. The schedule matters even though they play each team home and away. But if you see where Man U and Chelsea play each other the 2nd time the position favors Chelsea.
Chelsea play Home vs Tottenham while Man U play Aresenal at the Emirates. which is a much tougher game than Chelsea's even though the game is at Old Trafford, here is where Chelsea won 2-1. Chelsea will have more rest than ManU and the confidence of last years win at Old Trafford.

You place too much emphasis on the schedule because, and you even said so, every team has to play every team twice, home and away.
Predicting the outcome of an European Soccer league based on a schedule is basically pointless.
Besides, the Premiership will not necessarily be decided on the outcome of just the two matches between Man Utd and Chelsea.
Those are just two of the matches on the schedule, there are plenty of other matches for both teams to win and lose points, against tough opponents.
At least in your last argument you decided to stop saying that Man Utd's team isn't that good.
Man Utd and Chelsea are both obviously candidates to win it all.
But Man Utd has one of the game's best coaches and also a great team, from goalkeeper to strikers.
They have a mix of proven veterans with young prospects.
They also have depth in each and every position, arguably more so than Chelsea.
Only 1 point separated both sides last year and I do feel this year, as close as it is probably going to be, Man Utd is going to come out on top and regain the Premiership crown.
Thanks for the TD!
