The Mets will win the World Series, beating the Yankees in Seven.

The Mets are hitting their stride and the Yankees have found a wonder boy pitcher and the two shall meet in October where the Mets will win game 7 on a David Wright double. Why? Because it's time.


Look I am a Yankee fan, but no subway series will occur this year. The Mets MAY go, and MAY make the Series, but it is starting to look unlikely the Yanks will. They have been failing off as of late, and without Moose pitching well I don't know how good their chances are. I would sya the teams with the best shot to play the Mets are the SOX and the Angels. between them I would take the Angels, they are playing great ball right now.


Mussina isn't needed. You got Hughes, Chamberlain is the wonder boy, Wang, Pettite, and that's all you need for the playoffs.
The best team in Baseball doesn't win the World Series. The team that's hot at the right time wins. Look at the Cardinals. .500 team more or less. The Yankees have "found" two kids that might be around for a while, high up on a N.Y. team rotation. This injection of youth, in the form of electric starting pitching, can carry a team a team to the promised land.


Sorry but no. When was the last time rooks (2 mind you) came in and brought a team a ring? Chamberlin is a nice option but I don't see him shutting anyone down this season. huges is shaky right now and he really needs this season to get his rythm, is is no where near it right now. Neither of these teams look to be the best in their leagues. The Yanks do have good young ptiching but their not ready, it's not their day.


The odds for my prediction are 10,00- to 1, at best. Thus, if the Mets win against the Yankees in game 7 I win 10,000 TDs. Young pitchers have excelled in the WS. Doc, for example, and the list goes on and on.


This will not happen. If they did go to the Sereis the Yanks would win in 5..end of discussion

They both will. Pro sports are fixed, you know that. Time for a subway series. Not to mention both teams will get hot NOW!

What make syou think they will both get hot. The yanks had their hot streak and are still 7 and 1/2 games out and the wild card will be no gimme. Pro sports are fixed( yes I realize what happened in the NBA.) But so you really think if the NBA were fixed, that would have been the finals they chose for us. Or thsuper bowl would have been that crapfest. If the leagues were fixed it would have been colts/saints a high scoring explosion that would bore no one.
