I for one am not a fan of Kevin Kolb..
Vick has been sitting and waiting for this starting position to open up..
I know you need to give Kolb a chance , and that the Packer's d is nice.. but VICK did his work on 'em..
Put the best option in to win games.. all i'm saying..

If Kolb and Vick are both healthy next week against the Lions, Kolb should start.
Vick had a tremendous second half but the Vick was not as effective in the first half. It could be that the Eagles offense made adjustment and the Packers D prepared to face Kolb not Vick.
Eagles and there coaching staff have too much invested in Kolb who is in his final year.
I am an Eagles fan but lets be realistic, the Eagles are in rebuild mode and they need to know what they have in Kolb in order to plan for the future. Lets not forget that Kolb had 2 back-to-back 300 yard games last year. Vick is a band-aid not a long-term solution.
Philly fans are a wild bunch, in the pregame they were cheering for him and as soon as the guy struggles you throw him under the bus
EAGLES have upcoming games against @JAX and @DET. Two teams they should beat. If Kolb has the same struggles in the next 2 games as he did against GB (THE #1 defense in the NFC last year) then you start Vick.

New Orleans WEEK 2 with a huge CATCH.. the Eagles got beat DOWN.. 22-48.. Kolb had 3 int's in that game as well..

Michael Vick love him or not is as fast as lightning for a qb.. he can make moves Kolb has only dreamed of..

Kolb had one yard rushing while Vick had a 100!
I know Kolb is the pocket passer but Vick is a dual threat..

The old Vick used to have troubles completing simple passes in his time in ATL. Career Completion % of 53.7 is not very impressive. Vick would have tremendous games followed by mediocre games.
Teams with good DE or a good spy LB were able to keep Vick in the pocket and have success against Vick.

What I am saying is he has potential. It is not fair to bench a guy of one game just like its not right to call him a great QB because he threw for 600 yards in 2 games.
Also its hard to get into a rhythm as a QB when you have to keep coming off the field for VICK
The thing is the Eagles need to know what they have in Kolb going forward. Kolb (26), needs to be given at least 2 more games before you can assess him as a QB.

Sabeeh, here's the deal, Last season Michael Vick was fresh out of prison. Vick was coming back into the league after a two season hiatus. Vick was hyped up in the Eagles's system as the "wildcat guy". I mean come on, he hadn't play'd in TWO YEARS, so of course Kolb was Mcnabb's insurance plan. This season McNabb is up the road like we all know. Kolb gets the start and Vick is the backup. Let me ask this question tho, Could Kolb have been the decoy until Vick got fresh? Anybody that watched the Eagles play yesterday saw vick playing pretty bad a.s.s. ball with a 17 pt. deficit. Ried said Vick's play was "phenominal". Kolb should see the bench until Vick plays out of character, Vicks proven. I think Kolb is SERIOUSLY overrated..

Two reason why people don't want to see Vick start..
the 1. don't like 'em for what he did
or 2. think Kolb is a better "passer"

Vick has been very inconsistent even when with the Falcons. I will admit he had a great game but that is because the Packers had been preparing all week to face a different QB in Kolb and nobody expected Vick to be as effective as he was.
In a game involving so much strategy, it makes a big difference when a you have to adjust for a new threat.

The reason Kolb should start is simple and it has to do with the investment the Eagles have in Kolb. They got rid of McNabb and handed the keys to him.
If Reid benches Kolb it hurts Kolb's confidence and it makes Reid and the Eagles organization look like they had no idea what they are doing. Also, Vick is 30 while Kolb is 26.
Vick's playing style does not allow him to have a long career unlike a pocket passer.

They certainly looked better when he was in. He needs to remember not to take big hits, though. It's better to step out a yard sooner than risk injury, particularly with Kolb already out.

I can see Vick doing a Randall Cunningham late in his career. The Eagles have enough talent to play good football with Vick as the starter.

Total implosion. They were outmanned and outclassed. The Seahawks whipped them like they stole something. The defense looked ok in spots, but their offense was horrible. Alex Smith was his usual incompetent self.
