Willie Parker is the 4th best RB in the league?
HAHAHAHA.
Sure he rushed for 1494 yards at 4.4 YPC and 13 TDs last year, BUT. . .
436 of those yards and 3 TDs came in two games against the Browns and Saints.
In his other 14 games then he had 1058 yards at 3.7 YPC with 10 TDs.
He is the most inconsistant starting RB in the league. He had 6 games under 3.0 YPC. He had 8 under 4. That's half his games with a HORRIBLE YPC average.
And concerning that 32 carry, 223 Yard (7.0 YPC), 1 TD game against the Browns. . .his other game against the Browns? 16 carries, 46 Yards (2.9 YPC), 1 TD.
As much as I like Gore, I'd rank him at like 6. He racked up over 100 yards per game behind one of the worst O-lines in the league.
Alexander and Westbrook should be in the Top 5. Westbrook carries a career 4.7 YPC average and a 9.5 YPCatch average. Alexander is on the verge of 10,000 yards and 100 Rushing TDs. Joining 23 others with 10,000 yards and 7 others with 100 Rushing TDs.

GoatHCW | 08/29/07, 02:51 PM
Report Offensive CommentEh, that might be Benson >_<
Bio1590 | 08/29/07, 02:55 PM
Report Offensive CommentBenson the most inconsistent? Don't you have to be consistent first in order to then become inconsistent? lol.
usc_trojans_#1 | 08/29/07, 03:08 PM
Report Offensive CommentNo?
You just have to be good at times and suck really bad during the others.
Bio1590 | 08/29/07, 03:15 PM
Report Offensive CommentYou can't really put Gore in this category because of just one good season. If he has another good season then he will be one of the top 5.
godsmackfan0619 | 08/29/07, 03:32 PM
Report Offensive CommentHence why I said "I'd put him at like 6"
Bio1590 | 08/29/07, 03:34 PM
Report Offensive Commentafter i read parker, i almost literally laughed out loud hahhaha. Parker ONLY does well at home. ONLY! As for godsmackfan's comment, how can you not put gore on the top 5? For all fantasy drafts, gore is typically the top 5 choice. That means he is a top 5 player. And your comment about his one good season, What about Jackson? he is clearly the 2nd best back in th league right now and he had one ONE good season. his other seasons were average.
The Guru | 08/29/07, 03:40 PM
Report Offensive CommentWell Gore only has one 1000 yard season to Jackson's 2.
11 career RUSHTDs to Jackon's 25.
Jackson has a career 8.7 YPCatch and 5 TDs
Bio1590 | 08/29/07, 03:42 PM
Report Offensive Commentand jackson also has an extra season on gore too. gore has over 400 yards more then jackson did in hi first 2 seasons
LO603 | 08/29/07, 03:52 PM
Report Offensive Comment11 td for gore and 12 for jackson in his first 2 years
and comparing passin is unfair stl is a passes a lil mor than an fran
LO603 | 08/29/07, 03:53 PM
Report Offensive Commentyou can compare a guys career numbers to a guys who has played longer
LO603 | 08/29/07, 03:54 PM
Report Offensive Commentbio, im not comparing the 2 backs. both backs are top 5 backs. godsmack jsut mentioned that gore only had 1 good season so he should be considered top 5m, which i disagreed on. i mentioned jackson to show him that jackson also had only 1 explosive season. 1000 yards in the nfl these days are a dime a dozen. plus gores 1st full year as a starter, he ran for 1600+. thats impressive dont u think? jackson first full year he only got 1000+.
The Guru | 08/29/07, 03:56 PM
Report Offensive CommentBecause he only had 250 carries.
Had he had the carries he would've had in his last year he would've been at 1419 yards.
I'm just saying.
Bio1590 | 08/29/07, 04:01 PM
Report Offensive Commentbut they didnt have faith in him like they do in gore so that has to say something too
