I will submit my changes
OLB: Porter < Merriman- he will have a VERY good year as Norv drops the Chargers back to the 3rd best team in the AFC and they have to rely on the defense more.
FS: ED REED- Nuff Said.
DE: Will Smith, Saints- 10.5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles, better secondary gives him more time and Brian Simmons is going to raise that D a notch.
DT Cory Redding- Right Team wrong player. 8 sacks after he got moved.
CB: Lito Sheppard- and on record as stating that Nate is going to be a bust like the last big FA CB signee- any Bears fans want to tell you how much that signee helped the first year?

I think Merriman is an animal, but I also think Porter will rack up better stats playing with Crowder, Thomas, and Taylor. They'll blitz him and he can cover, too. So the pressure will force bad throws which he is right there to take.
Kerry Rhodes had an amazing year last year and will only get better with the addition of Revis and Harris in the draft and an improved Vilma (who's finally used to the 3-4).
I don't think Lito Sheppard will do as great as you think. Even if Nate Clements doesn't live up to the hype, Walt Harris, will force the opposition to make throws to his side

I have the same amount of players as you.
Lito Sheppard is going to be key to the Philly Defense and east coast bias is going to help as well. I atually thought about throwing Harris in there but Lito has been twice and will go again.
No defense for Rogers? Don;t blame you. He gonna get doubled all season and free Cory.

I actually ran out of room. Shaun Rogers will have to fight through the double team, but he is very recognizable and the double team makes him very valuable to his team. Getting double teamed means that the linebackers are free to make plays without having to fight through blockers.
Philly's D lost a key part in Trotter. Why they cut him, I don't know, but they did and that opens up the run a lot more. Teams will run a lot more and pass less, and when they do pass the threat of a blitzing Trotter is moot.

Trotter was slowing down, and while I do agree that he should have been kept as a rotational or down player, It's not like Reid hasn't done this before and the Eagles are still good.
Shaun Rogers will take the bulk of the double teams but Cory got 8 sacks after being moved inside and a lot of press inside NFL circles. Even if Rogers does last the season Cory is going to get a lot of attention if D-town preforms close to expectations

The Chargers D will be expected to win a few games for this year as opposed to last year when they simply used the best season a RB has ever had .
So Yes Shawn will have to preform better than last year-
and that gets him to the Probowl

Report Offensive CommentSean Taylor came with a great upside and ability. he needs to stay healthy fro a full season and maybe I will believe it. I don't know if being on the Redskins has hampered his talents or what, but Landry in the secondary now with him eliminates alot of excuses.
