There were so many ways USC should have won that game. It took several lucky bounces and USC brain cramps, along with VY taking his game to another stratosphere, to win with 30 seconds left. Texas was more lucky than good in that game.

You play Madden? Sometimes the game just says "you are not winning today." VInce Young was Superman, the football Gods said "no title for USC," and that was it. Despite that impossible performance, they were a bonehead punt or stupid lateral from winning.

USC was set up for a loss in the 2005 Rose Bowl by one of Pete Carroll's worst coaching performances. It wasn't a fluke just bad coaching by Carroll

Yeah but he also let an offense with one weapon beat him, and when the game counted didn't have bush in the game. 4th and 2, if you get the first you win the game. Why is bush on the sideline? That was probably the dumbest coaching move of his career. If he puts Bush on the field he will draw atleast one defender and have another defender looking to help. This would have taken away all the men they stacked in the box to stop White.
