Yes i know theyll be undefeated and some other teams will have 1-2 losses. But look at thier schedule!!!! Oregon State and VTech are their only 'quality' and while solid programs neither can be considered elite. Theyre a good squad but there is no way they could play a SEC or Big Ten schedule or even a Pac -10 one, they play 2 decent teams year then beat a bunch of cream puff teams by 40 pts then cry when they dont get in the title game GIMME A BREAK

If they go undefeated and every other team has a loss you have to consider Boise State for the national championship.
This is not the first season Boise is going to be undefeated. Since 2006 they have lost only once (against #9 TCU in the Poinsettia Bowl). They beat Oklahoma in the 2006 Fiesta Bowl as we all remember and last year against TCU.
This year the beat Virgina Tech and Oregon State.
Sure they have had the easier schedule but they beat everyone that has faced them and have been doing it for years. They are CRUSHING there opposition. This year there average margin of victory has been 33 points.
Why does it matter if the other teams play a tougher schedule if they are getting beat by lesser teams (S Carolina).
Lets look at the remaining schedule of the top 5 teams
Ranked teams on schedule(RTOS): 2 (#18 and #15)
RTOS: 2 (#17 and #24)
RTOS: 1 (#19)
RTOS: 2 (#23 and #11)
RTOS: 2 (#20 and #21)
If these teams lose with their schedule, Boise should be considered for the Title. None of them faces a Top 10 team. TCU has the toughest remaining opponent in UTAH.

Back to schedule.
The teams you face does not matter if you cannot beat them. There is nothing brave about playing a #19 team and getting beat.
Alabama was outplayed in that game and if OSU or Nebraska or Oregon are losing to teams ranked well below them, they should not be playing in the national title game just because they had a tougher schedule.
