2 fractures from last sunday's game..

getting beat up n keeping the consecutive record going..

i doubt Tavaris would beat the Patriots!

A real man would've went out there and played because he wanted to win

A fake man would've went out there and played because he wanted to keep a streak going

don't question Favre wanting to WIN

brotha

He went out there to continue his streak

During the game he played way too conservative. He knew that he wasn't himself. So why play? Let Jackson come in. He didn't take any chances. If Brett Favre is going to play I want him to play the way he always does.. great quarterback who makes a ton of plays, but also a lot of mistakes.

playing today is not what makes him a man. he has almost fails in that regard.

Should have said, he fails as a man....

wtf is this TD lol. Guess I'm leaning right, points for humor?

November 1, 2010  12:29 AM ET

If he were a real man, he would have acknowledged that his team getting a win was more important that his consecutive games streak and he would have stepped aside.

to be honest though, Tjack i doubt would have played better. Favre played mistake free football. His INT was entirely Harvin's fault, he should have held on to that ball. When Jackson came in he looked horrendous. I'll give him that it was under 2 min and he had to score quick, but he did not look great.

Brett Favre played today, yes, but that doesnt make him a real man.

Until he steps away from the game for good and stops his shenanigans he will never be a real man.

November 1, 2010  02:33 AM ET

A draw is in order here.

November 1, 2010  08:02 AM ET

This is pretty pathetic. Favre knows when that red light is on the camera, thus the "injuries". He goes from the drama of being knocked out of the game and to suddenly being OK for the post-game interviews, saying how he is tougher than everyone else.

Between MeBron and Favre, I'm not sure who is the most "hateable" person in sports.

November 1, 2010  08:26 AM ET

Anyone that thinks Favre took the field for anyone other than himself is naive.

An injured Favre is better than a healthy Jackson.

I saw pictures that proved it.

Agreed. That smack in the chin is called karma.

Brett Favre has guts. He may have more guts then brains but he definitely has guts. To go out there on that bad ankle and bad body in general...week after week and consistently take a pounding. He played well on Sunday. With the score 21-18 the Vikings defense had 3 chances to make a stop on third down and give the Vikings offense a chance to win and they couldnt do it. Brett's streak is inhuman to even fathom and for that, i admire his courage and his will to win.
