The award is Most Valuable Player. Hillis leads his team in BOTH rushing AND receiving. How can anyone be more valuable to his team than Hillis?
Leads his team in rushing and receiving!
The only two ways to move the ball down the field are throwing and running - Hillis is the leader in BOTH rushing and receiving.
Thus, Hillis is the Most Valuable Player.

Hillis is a freak but who's more valuable to their team.. Rivers or Hillis.. i'll let the voters do the match..

vick can still have a couple huge games...continue his number one quarterback ranking...and electrify peopel and could very well be in contention. but lets be real....rivers is playing out of his mind right now. top three in no particular order would be rivers vick and brady.

There are only two choices here really in my opinion, Philip Rivers and Michael Vick. It all comes down to if the Chargers make the playoffs. If they do, it's Rivers. If they don't, it's Vick. It pretty much all comes down to that, now that Rivers has defeated Manning head-to-head.

It's close between Rivers and Vick. If Rivers beats Marino's record he's a shoe in. If not it will be close. Plus you can't count out the NFL's lover boy Brady.
