So you made this comment in another TD:
"Baseball is 18787436767467676x more exciting than hockey."
Don't get me wrong, I like baseball and played it my whole life, but ARE YOU NUTS?
I know a lot of people don't like hockey, but in terms of pure excitement, baseball does not come close to hockey.
Hockey is non-stop action, big hits, awesome goals, and tons of defensive action. Up and back without stoppages.
Baseball is one pitch at a time, with everyone but the pitcher and catcher just standing around waiting for something to happen. Sure, there are home runs and whatnot, but baseball as a whole cannot possibly compare to hockey in the excitement category.
I know you are going to use the whole "grown men shouldn't ice skate" argument, but it really means nothing as far as this argument is concerned. You live in a non-hockey environment, so you have been conditioned to not like hockey. And that's fine.
But to say baseball is more exciting than hockey is pure insanity.
Please hold off on the whole "hockey is not a sport" crap because it holds no weight as far as this argument is concerned.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, ice skating should be saved for women and children, grown men should never ice skate because it is extremely gay.
Hockey has too many people skating around, I don't even know what is going on.
The most exciting part of any sport is the score, a 1-0 game in hockey is not at all uncommon, and the few games it happens in baseball, I am amazed by the pitchers.
In baseball one play can change an entire play be it an error, a caught stealing, a stolen base, a well placed sacrifice fly, a clutch hit, a clutch strikeout, a clutch double play, etc.
With baseball I am on the edge of my seat for every pitch because that pitch could be the pitch that decides the game or changes who has the momentum.
Baseball has more moments the make you get out of your seat, more scoring, no ice skating.
If hockey were more exciting it would have more fans than baseball, and obviously baseball is second to only football in viewership in America(of the big 4 at least).
I'm sure hockey has it's good moments like all sports do, but baseball has more exciting plays, and is the more exciting sport.

"grown men should never ice skate because it is extremely gay."
The whole "Southern Tough Guy" thing needs to stop. You act like it's gay, but you would get your **** handed to you by absolutely ANY player in the NHL.
"Hockey has too many people skating around, I don't even know what is going on"
It's nobody's fault but your own that you can't keep up. That is the beauty of it. It is NON-STOP action. Not 7 guys standing around while one guy throws the ball to another guy. Again, NON-STOP ACTION.
"a 1-0 game in hockey is not at all uncommon"
Do you know what that can be attributed to? DEFENSE and great GOALTENDING. You bring up how the pitchers amaze you in a low scoring game, but the same can be said for the goalie putting up a goose egg on the opponents scoreboard.
"Baseball has more moments the make you get out of your seat"
Yeah, to get up and change the channel because you are bored out of your mind.
"If hockey were more exciting it would have more fans than baseball"
This is quite possibly the dumbest thing I have ever heard on this site.
Baseball is a slow-paced, relaxing game. Hockey is a hard hitting, non-stop display of athletic ability.

If you like hockey then you are a Canadian.

Not anywhere near as much as Cain does on a Friday night.
"If you like hockey then you are a Canadian."
Not true. I like hockey and I am not Canadian.
