San Diego will beat New England

I think San Diego will beat New England Sunday night. The Patriots wont be able to focus, becuase of all the questions of "spy-gate" There is absolutely no way that LT will get shut down 2 weeks in a row, he'll be incredibly determined running the ball.


Did you happen to watch Week 1? Because if you did, you must've missed the Patriots performance. Randy Moss went for 180 yds recieving,, Tom brady completely shreded the Jets D, and the offensive line looked like one of the best ever. Also, San Diego wasnt exactly impressive. The offense was lucky to put up 2 TD's, as they were aided by good field position. Phillip Rivers looked like a rookie and LT didnt do much. In addition, the defense played an anemic offense that was starting Cedric Benson for the first time ever. New England will be able to pressure Rivers whenever they want, and will force mistakes. One the other side of the ball, NE will continue with their solid run game and big play ability from their wideouts to win this one. Remember, not many teams can come into Foxboro and win night games.


I wasnt aware that the Jets D, was anywhere near the level of the Chargers D. The Chargers are a much better football team than the Jets are. Phillip Rivers wont be as bad as he was versus Chicago. LT is going to be angry about his week 1 performance, and have a big game. Its gonna be close


Obviously the Jets arent on the Charger's level. But the point is that NE went into the meadowlands and demolished the Jets. Chicago, while a tough team, has an horrible offense. In a matchup of two of the best teams in the NFL, im gonna go with the better QB. In this case, thats Tom Brady. NE will win this one.


NE is going to be keying on Antonio Gates and trying to stop him, which means lots of one on one coverage for Craig Davis and Vincent Jackson, and that means potentially big games for both of them. I know that your usually supposed to go with the home team in a close game, but San Diego's offense is out to prove that they're not as bad as their offense was, in week 1 versus Chicago, and what a better way to prove themselves than versus NE.


They might be trying to prove themselves, but NE is too much. The defense is loaded, and they have one of the best defensive minds in the game, who wasnt using the defensive signals. In addition, Tom brady is one of the best QBs, the RB is a future star, the OL is great, and they have three very good WRs in Welker, Moss, and Stallworth. All of that will be too much for SD to handle.

Sorry, but I must disagree. I say NE whups up on the 'Dolts...er, 'Bolts in a very intense game. Actually, I expect it to be very close. Both are good teams, and I hate them equally.

New England is going to come out swinging. They are going to show everyone that they don't need a camera to beat up on the Jets or any other team. I hope they lose but I don't think so. Sorry!

I like the Chargers, but who's gonna cover Moss? Also, Merriman isn't the same player without the "rage".

Bottom line is these Patriots, if healthy, are the scariest team the league has seen since the early 90's Cowboys.

San Diego's secondary will get picked apart. The Pats D and fans will be sky high for this one and they will carry Rivers off the field Merrimen won't get close to Brady As for Moss --- here he comes ---there he goes Pats by 17 No Contest Pats rule

djroxalot is retarded. All of you who keep thinking that the Patriots had this super advantage with the "spy" and think the defense stinks are dumb. Did Rodney Harrison stink in SD?? Did Adelius Thomas suck in Baltimore?? Colvin in Chicago?? Seau in SD or Miami??? All of those teams must have been cheating too, because they were playmakers on great defenses there. Stop the overhyping of this. I read an article in the LA Times where an unnamed former NFL coach said that at least half the teams do this and EVERY team does something that bends the rules to get an advantage. The Pats got caught, and thats that. Other teams will get busted soon, because the Patriots probably hired PI's to tail every team in the league so they can prove this witchhunt is just that. A witchhunt. Stop crying and hating. You sound like that little girl, LT.
