Dale Earndhardt is the most overrated driver..

While he's the most overrated driver in NASCAR he isn't even close to the most overrated driver in racing. That distinction falls on the one the only:

DANICA PATRICK


JR

is more overrated..

how many women have raced again?

yuh!

Jr. is going off his legend daddy..

simple as that..

no cake for you..


A handful of women have raced in the past but that's not the point. I will post the remainder of my argument in broken English so you can understand:

JR 399 starts in NASCAR, 18 wins with a Daytona 500 victory in 04'

DP 98 starts in IRL, 1 win (not on American soil)

DP has less victories per start, no major race win

JR has actually won some races and has won NASCAR's biggest race in 04'

DP is more overrated!

Simple as the stats...

Dale Jr. has a wang..

Patrick doesn't.. bottom line


Dale JR has accomplished more, has a better winning percentage and races in a field of 43 (instead of 33). Danica on the other hand has failed to prove she belongs among the best racers in the IRL. Her one and only victory was in a race in Japan which happened to be on the same day as a CART race in the US (unification of the 2 organizations left multiple race options that year). They both have unlimited sponsorship money and are both overrated but DP has accomplished less and deserves to be considered the most overrated driver.

Can't challenge this, your absolutely right. Nice guy , sells lots of T-Shirts but even with Henrick equipment, couldn't make the chase to save his life.

I would have to go with Jr on this. I like him, he seems like a great guy. It isn't his fault that his last name is Earnhardt but the media wants so badly for him to be his dad that he gets WAY too much undue attention. On the other hand, Danica is quite good and most drivers wouldn't mind at all to have her track record (in Indy cars of course) Her extra attention has more to do with the fact that she is a female. To be fair, she is easily the best female driver at the moment. The move to NASCAR was a bit premature. She should concentrate in Indy and continue her development there until she gets that mastered. NASCAR is a completely different sport.

It's also easier to finish in the top 10 when there are traditionally 10 less cars per race (43 make the field in NASCAR to only 33 for Indy)

some of you are clueless when it comes to NASCAR

if you expect him to win the championship every year, then yes he is overrated

only 5 or 6 active drivers have as many or more wins than him

he is a 2 time busch (nationwide) series champion
