You made the following statement in the NHL message boards regarding the mutually agreed-upon fight between goalies Brent Johnson and Rick Dipietro:
"Johnson took a sucker punch on DiPietro when DP thought they were just playing around."
ARE YOU CRAZY?
Watch the video in the link below and tell me again with a straight face that it was a sucker punch.

Ah, you can have this one. I'm not gonna argue whether it was or not. It seemed like DP thought they were just playing around as he was laughing until he got his bean smashed. I give Johnson props for smashing a face with one punch. What was disrespectful was that **** Fleury laughing at the poor guy. That is what caused the next BEATING of the Pens by the Isles. They deserved everything they got for that. Fleury will still have to answer that bell when they play one another at the very end of the season when the Isles have nothing to lose and Pit will be in the Playoff hunt most likely. April 8th will possibly be another crazy game.

Thank you for admitting that I am correct.
"They deserved everything they got for that."
I don't know why I'm asking this, but what makes you feel that way? Every attack in this game was completely unwarranted.
"What was disrespectful was that **** Fleury laughing at the poor guy."
He wasn't laughing at Dipietro. He was smiling at Johnson as he came off the ice. Goalies don't fight that often, and Fleury was giving Johnson his props.
"Fleury will still have to answer that bell "
Are you insinuating that somebody is going to go after Fleury in the next Pens/Isles game? Cause that makes no sense. Fleury wasn't playing in the game that Johnson got in the fight, and he didn't play the other night when all that stuff happened either. Why should he have to answer the bell for a bunch of stuff that he had absolutely nothing to do with?
"April 8th will possibly be another crazy game"
Wrong. The league and refs will be watching that game like hawks. I don't think they will hesitate to throw any offenders out of the game, and give tons of suspensions.
Expect the next game to be much more calm than this last one.

I'm just saying that if Fleury does play in that game I would expect a guy like Gillies or some other nobody with nothing to lose to take a run at him. Well, the Isles as a team will have nothing to lose at that point in the season so it may get ugly. I don't care if Fleury was laughing at him or not, but the Islanders players and coaches who spoke with media after that game and before the "sideshow" game seemed to have a problem with guys on the Pen's bench laughing at injured Isle's players. That is what they said, not what I said. I know the Islanders players and media kept saying the Islanders "wanted to wipe the smiles off the Penguins' faces." They did just that after all was said and done. The only player I saw who looked like he could be laughing at DP laying on the ice with a shattered face was M.A. Fleury. I thought it was a great punch by Johnson. I just think that the next game they play could be just as ugly, but may not be after the suspensions were handed out and disciplinary action was taken. I doubt the Islanders will come anywhere near the 9 goal range though.
