Summer Slam '93

Yokozuna vs Lex Luger "made in the US of A" lol

I know Luger spent more time in WCW.. i Know Luger had legendary matches there but i think this fight was at the height of his career.. Working for the boys .. "up north"..

Vince n Co..

Luger didn't win the belt but he did headline a Summer Slam and beat Yoko.. The hype going into this fight was HUGE.. Luger slammed Yoko(600 pounds)on the USS intrepid that previous July.. Luger had a campaign going across the States for this Summer Slam..

my 2nd pick..

Luger vs Ric Flair..

Battle of the Belts '86 (NWA)

60 MINUTE DRAW!

that's a long draw lmao

1st match

Luger vs. Hogan/NWO

Luger won the WCW belt from Hogan against the NWO odds and interference on Hogan's behalf and if I remember correctly Dennis Rodman interfered as well. Luger put Hogan on the Torcher Rack to win the match.

2nd match

Luger vs. Arn "The Enforcer" Anderson

This was the beginning of the Luger - 4 Horsemen feud with both wrestlers showcasing their intensity in and outside the ring. It was also the 1st feud against a Horsemen after Luger was kicked out because he didn't let J.J Dillon win a Bunkhouse Match.

wow

woulda thought you'd bring the HEAT

nxt picks..

3..

Royal Rumble '94.. Luger shared the Rumble victory w/ Bret Hart...

propelled him to WRESTLE MANIA!

4.vs Stan Hansen

Starcade 1990

Luger's best matches occurred when he was in WCW. THE HEAT IS ON!

3rd

Lex Luger vs. Flair

Capital Combat 1990

This was replacement match. Initially it was Flair vs. Sting, but Sting tore his knee in Clash of the Champions. Luger came within inches of beating Flair and it made Luger a good guy because he was a heel at the time. The match was followed by a classic 40 minute match against Flair in WrestleWar.

4th

Luger vs. Dusty Rhodes

Starcade 1987

Even though Luger lost this match, he lost it against a legend. So the torch was passed and it led to some great matches against Arn Anderson. The match taught Luger to adjust to another wrestler's game plan and for him to dictate the pace of the match against other wrestlers. Simply, the match propelled to stardom.

1987

Great American Bash

Luger wins the UNITED STATES TITLE FROM

Nikita Koloff

The Clash of the Champions XV

vs. The Great Muta

Muta was known around the world and at the time he was managed by Gary Hart, who also managed the Great Kabuki. However, Muta was more athletic and packed a more powerful punch than Kabuki. The match went back and forth. Muta using his martial marts/gymnastic moves against Luger. Luger would come back with his power moves, until Muta tried to spray the paint mist from his mouth into Luger's eyes. But Luger blocked the mist from hitting his eyes with his forearm and put Muta on the Torcher Rack for the win. The match only lasted about 5 minutes, but it was one of the most entertaining.

There are some super sad TDs going on here at this time.

Lex was a much bigger superstar in NWA/WCW than he ever was in WWF/E.

I think "The Narcissist" gig lasted only a year or so. I remember he used to bring a full length mirror to the ring with him.
I can't remember if Bobby "The Brain" Heenan was with him at the time. Might have even been Miss Elizabeth. Wasn't there some weird stuff with her going on for a couple of years?

Yeah! But it came out during WCW when a lot of former WWF wrestlers moved to WCW. It continued after the fall of WCW until the untimely death of Miss Elizabeth. Luger was arrested when police came to search his house when they were investigating her death.
