Who's the most underrated player in the nba? (current)

since i make all my td's.. i'll bypass my first argument for a sneak attack..

Also, for the "did you retire again" comments.. I have comeback by popular demand.. I'm aiming for a huge milestone.. 800 wins..

sorry to blow my own float and throw it in the pool .. but .. you know..

battah battah SWING

I'm going to go with LaMarcus Aldridge from the Portland Trail-Blazers.

Where would Portland be without him? Certainly not in the playoff picture, that's for sure.

He leads his team in scoring with 22.3 PPG and is second on the team with 8.7 RPG.

While Portland was dealing with drastic injuries to both Brandon Roy (who is back, but not his normal self) and Greg Oden (who will never stay healthy), Aldridge stepped up his game and is leading the Blazers to the playoffs.

Did I mention he's team captain?

And that he posted up 42 points to beat the Bulls, something your Miami Heat have failed to do this year?

Your turn PCH. What you got?

Lamar Odom

no all stars..

Lamar can play EVERY position..

He could body up at powerforward..

He can shoot when need be..

He can slash like a small forward..

He can be a floor general ..Very good at handling the ball... lmao.. too funny..

Lamar also has the heighth to defend at center .. 6'11

lil wiki knowledge here..

He led the US in rebounds and finished the FIBA championships with double-doubles in the semi-final and championship games while becoming the first player in history to win both an NBA championship and FIBA Gold in the same year.

Lamar is overshined by Gasol and Kobe.. even sometimes.. BYNUM...

Lamar is a solid choice in my opinion..

Aldridge has everybodies attention.. he was a big snub from the all star game and he also HAD to take over because Brandon Roy's knees started to age already

Odom does not play all 5 positions on the court. He plays forward. That's it.

He can defend centers? I'd love to see Odom defend Dwight Howard. That would be a sight to see. You've brought up maybe one or two good points, one being that he's very good at handling balls. Well if you've seen the size of Kloe Kardashian's testicles, you'd know why he's good at handling balls. You said he can slash like a small forward, if I was married to her instead of Kim, I'd slash myself too. He can body up at PF? Have you seen the size of Kloe? She's as big as he is!

Anyways, all jokes aside, here's some stats.

Odom: 14.4 PPG-8.7 RPG- 2.9 AST
Aldridge: 22.3 PPG- 8.7 RPG- 2.1 AST

The definition I was given of underrated was rated more than over. Those that are rated more than over, made the All-Star Game, those that are underrated, did not. Therefore, LaMarcus Aldridge is underrated, and is the better player.

Boom Roasted.

You know, for a guy who's retired....you sure have a lot of TDs on the board.

There's no other way to view the NBA.

Welcome back...again.....

My pick would be Josh Smith. He can score and is one of the best defenders in the league. Hard to call Aldridge underrated. The guy gets a lot of press especially after not getting picked for the all star game.

March 15, 2011  10:28 AM ET

L. Odom can't play PG/SG. So no he can't play all five postitions on the floor. In my opinion.

March 15, 2011  10:51 AM ET

Rondo is a better option than Odom.

March 15, 2011  11:08 AM ET

Odon is talked about all the time. How he would be a starter anywhere else etc. Aldridge is someone who is overlooked at times.
