In terms of physical..

2. Ravens defence..
3. Chelsea soccer..
4. Celts with perkins and garnett
5. Crazy hockey dude that hit afrivan american player in head with stick..
6. Philies.. Dont bean them or else!

Marty Mcsorley is retired. So if retired players are allowed, I will put the following changes:
Broadstreet Bullies over Chelsea Soccer
The Big Bad Bruins over the Phillies
Both teams were big, dirty, physical hockey teams. Scary teams there...
HighwayCrossingFrog said 03/25, 10:27 AM
Oh blast was hoping mcsorely was still playing..
that dude would smash your 2 choices in the head with his stick!
mcsorely is far more evil than your 2 choices..
Guess we will never know if hos attack was inspired by racosim.
Chelsea is the most physical soccer team ever..
they deserve to be on this list!
its one of the few times you have to psych yourself up for
a game.. If you dont you are dead..
I was trying to think of a baseball one..
and i chose the philies cause that is one team I would not want to poss off!
With their pitching they could really hurt you!

McSorley retired about 10 years ago, and him hitting Brasher in the head was his last ever play.
And McSorley should have retired after Clark kicked his ass. I would like to make another change, since Foos said no Leafs, by picking Wendal Clark of McSorley.
Clark FTW!
And please, Chelsea tough? They have one of the softest players ever in Torres. And they may be one of the tougher teams in soccer because of the dirty Drogba, but it is a soccer team. They aren't known for being tough and physical.
Mean while, the Phillies pitching staff doesn't really through hard, and aren't a bunch of mean thugs. I would fear the Reds more, simply for the fact of them bringing in Chapman to retaliate. If you wanted a baseball team, pick any team with Matt Stairs on them (the Nats now I think?).
Do I even have to talk about the Big Bad Bruins or Broadstreet Bullies? Their name says it all. Those guys were dirty, nasty, and physical.
HighwayCrossingFrog said 03/25, 10:45 PM
1st off.. mcsorley won that fight against clark! in your tube vide.. ha ha..
2nd to hit a guy with a hockey stick as hard as you can is completely insane!
there is no team that is known for being more tough and physical than chelsea..
I guess when I talk about the philies.. I mean more of a mental fear..
Just imagin you have a four game series, and their rotation is set as hamels, holliday, lee and oswalt!
None of your batters would sleep well for 4 days!
I thank god that the philies are not in the american league, (red sox fan here)..
the TD was all over the place, but provided a special challenge..

Clark kicked McSorley's ass. It wasn't even close. Clark was the meanest, toughest, grittiest hockey player of his time. He even kicked Neely's ass.
Chelsea is a soccer team, not known for striking fear into opponents. When was the last time their was a fight involving Chelsea? If they did, Torres would go around slapping people like a little girl.
While the Phillies may have some mental fear, you said this was in terms of physical. Mental and Physical are opposites in my book. And the mental fear would be no different than going up against any top team, and I don't really think underdogs are scared of losing.
The two old school hockey teams I mentioned struck fear into opponents. Heck, they struck fear into fans at the game (Mike Milbury beating up a fan with the fans own shoe!). These teams were scary mean teams.

The Phillies feared?
Lol.
Ryan Howard is the only player on the Phillies that I would think twice before starting a fight with, and the second thought always tells me to go for it.
