Texas A&M will win in the orange bowl against Miami on Thursday.

A&M has proven that they can run the ball on anyone with no major problems...i.e. Texas last season was ranked #1 in rush D...they ran it up and down the field all day, A&M has all major starters back and a few new faces that are ready to make an impact. A&M had over 500yds total Offense on saturday. Miami is a great program dont get me wrong but the just are not what they were and could be they are in a complete rebuilding stage. Miami has proven that they are not reliable in the red zone either going 1 for 5 in trips to the redzone. Miami is 2nd to last in passing yards per game which plays to the Aggies strength in that they have a hard time defending the deep ball, and or throwing the deep ball. Miami will not be able to stop the A&M rushing trio of Goodson, Lane, and McGee A&Ms QB. The score will not break 40pts for eithe team I see a score of 31-17 A&M.

First of all what A&M did to Texas was last year. Second of all, the Orange Bowl is going to be incredibly loud. Kyle Wright is probably going to be starting again, and he's a much better passer than Kirby Freeman. James, there running back, is solid, and he'll find ways to get some yards, Im going to Miami in a close one 14-10

It was the last conference game of the season and we have not lost any major players i.e. not much if anything has changed since then except the Texas Rush D isnt as good as it was. Now On the Orange Bowl.....A&M was 5 and 0 on the road last season and that includes at UT. Now Kyle Wright obviously cant be too much better than Freeman because Freeman took the starting position away from him. And yes James is solid and will find ways to get yards but in Miami's case they shown that they cant finish In the red zone. And on your Score Neither D is good enough to keep the score that low.

The Aggies schedule their first game of the year hasnt been that impressive. Congratulations you beat Montana State 38-7(probably going to reference App St. beating Michigan) but then you beat Fresno State 47-45, you mean to tell me that Miami isnt as good as Fresno State? Then you beat the powerhouse, Louisiana Monroe, give me a break. This is the Aggies first real test of the year.

Badgerfan the fact is, everyone likes to have a couple tune up games. Should those games have been as close as they were? No. But I am happy to see that A&M has no quit in them and that they know how to close out a game. Now if you want to use the fresno game to try and compair to Miami then Last season you might have compaired the Army game to the UT game we almost lost to Army but we beat UT in austin none the less to a very skilled UT team, point is that to these lower teir teams and the games with the Big boys is much like a bowl game and they get a chance to knock off a D-1 team where as like I said before D-1 teams look at them as a tune up game and rarely prepare for them. And not to mention Fresno state is a very talented team and I will not take the effort that they put up against A&M away from them, they came to win and almost did.

Okay I'll give you that. First of all Fresno State is a D-1 team. Secondly A&M is getting their first test of the year away from Kyle Field. I'll give you Miami hasnt exactly lived up to all of their hype this year. But in my opinion the 'Canes have alot to prove to themselves, after that pitiful performace against Oklahoma. The Miami needs to improve, and I think they will with this game, because the Aggies offense is basically one dimensional, they dont pass nearly enough

didnt miami just get **** raped by oklahoma then have to pull out a close one against a florida school that 7 people have heard of....vote to tamu

If A&M can handle the noise in Kyle Field then they won't have much trouble in the Orange Bowl

Vote to 12th. Miami is not impressive at all so far this year.

12th Man... Im showing some love. There is no doubt A&M will win and I think it will be by even more than you are predicting. Miami can't throw the ball and Tex A&M defense can stop the run. Plus OU proved that Miami's hype on defense was well ... lets just leave it at undeserved.

See I was going to say Kyle Field but the Aggies have never been on the target so I couldent really include it.....but yeah Kyle Field is louder than it looks

Well thanks Sooner, But I have had the thought that OU is just that Damn good that even if Miami was a pretty good team that they might have still put up the pts like they did.....so I am kinds anxious about thursday but we'll see.

Report Offensive Comment

Oh and by the way this has to be a first. An Aggie a Longhorn and a Sooner agree on the same thing! Wow I hope it goes as planned lol

Report Offensive Comment

Hmm, a Longhorn, an Aggie, and a Sooner all go into a throwdown.......

I would have to say Miami could make this game interesting, does anyone recall A and M's struggle vs Fresno state this year? The dogs darn near won that game and piled up yardage and points on the road no less. It's very reasonable to say Miami could win this game, should be fun to watch.

Miami sucks!!!!!

Report Offensive Comment

Yeah the only thing I am thinking is that Miami needs this game just as much as A&M does if not more. But I stil say A&M wins

The reason A&M doesnt pass much is beacuse when you can get over 300 yrds on the ground at will you dont have too, and yes A&M can pass we were one of the few teams last season to avg over 200 yrds passing and 200yrs rushing for most of the season.

Report Offensive Comment

If you and the rest of you sooner homers could learn how to read and comprehend you would see that I wrote "for most of the season." By saying this I showed that we did NOT avg 200 passing and 200 rushing for the entire season but if YOU look it up you would see that we did for the Majority of the season when other teams had not. Get Your facts straight. Oh and by the way OU hasent even really played anyone yet you panzy.

Oh and if you wants stats well here they are in order of passing then rushing game1 200,184 game 2 235,204 game3 191,223 game4 227,206 game5 202,214 game6 208,203 game7 210,200 game8 208,203 game9 209,213 game10 194,212 game11 203,207 game12 190,210 and if you want to look at the bowl here it is 190,206 So in six of the eight Conference gams A&M was over 200,200 and on the two that the were not they were only lacking by fewer than 10yds in passing, and we all know that this is a rushing team.

Report Offensive Comment

I hope you go and try and put up OU's numbers to that.
