Devil Rays Need a New Division

Plain and simple, The Devil Rays will NEVER make the playoffs with the Red Sox and the Yankees in the AL East. Now even though I am a huge Red Sox fan I am also very fond of the D-Rays. I think they are a great up and coming team and a new division would fit them better. The only problem is is that they arent in any postition to fit in the AL Central simply because they are on the far east of the US. But maybe a location change to accomadate that would be great. I do believe the D-Rays can make it, but just not when they have to play the Sox and the Yankees 18 times a year.


Wow, how can you argue this. It would be helpful if they got a new divison, but come on!! If they need a new division what about the Royals with the Indians and Tigers. What about the Nationals with the Braves, Mets, Phillies and Marlins. You can't argue that a team needs a new division. Every small up market team needs a new division.

First of all the Indians are not an amazing team that has enough money to keep them doing good for years and years to come. and the Tigers sucked for the last few years and look how they did last year. That shows that it is possible for the Royals to move up in that division. The Nationals can move up in there division too. The Mets werent very good a few years ago and now they are better. The Marlins werent too good a few years ago either. But their young players made them have a pretty decent year last year and the phillies are pretty bad. and no low


The Marlins are also up and coming and are in a tough divsion. I think that the Marlins have a better future than the D-Rays. And they are in a harder division. Don't even try to say the Mets, Braves and Phillies aren't difficult. There are many up and coming teams stuck in difficult divsions just like the D-Rays.


Wait a minute....did you seriously just say that the Marlins(a better team than the D-Rays anyway) are in a tougher division than the D-Rays. C'mon I know the Blue Jays havent been all that this year, but I would rather play the Mets (good) Braves (good) and Phillies (awful) 18 times a year than the Blue Jays Red Sox and Yankees 18 times a year.

The Yankees and the Red Sox put **** in the seats when they play the D-Rays at Tropicana. Same goes for Rogers Centre and Camden Yards. I think from a business standpoint everyone in the AL East is happy where they are.

didnt finish my comment. I also wanted to add that the Braves are starting to not win the division every year. On top of that no low market teams have it as bad as the D-Rays. They are in a division with two of the best teams in baseball that both have some of the highest payrolls in the League. The Royals and the Nats arent in the division with teams like the Sox and the Yankees. And to Sabres 12---> Fans dont care about their team from a Buisness standpoint.
